Give this a chance, not for preschoolers!

When I read some of the neg reviews, I knew I just had to chime in on what I have found to be a great game to work your mind. I think those who have found it too easy, have just cracked the surface levels. Trust me as it only gets harder as you go. I love the old and sometimes very difficult adventure games like Myst and Siberia series, games such as suduko are good for the mind. This may not be a game you would play everyday, but well worth buying. I finished all the levels and worked at it while watching tv. Wish there were more like it.

great kids' puzzle game!

This is a really cute young kid's game. From the perspective of Teddy and his toy friends, playing games, cleaning and organizing his toy blocks (cubes) before his human family returns from vacation. Puzzle aspects mixed with Match 3 style gaming. Starts out very simply, easily, and gets progressively more challenging, but still do-able. Bright colors, festive set up, a nice family game, or young kid's first game!

Kids have to be readers to play game

This game is misleading. The bright, cheerful graphics make this look like a preschool age game, but there is so much text and reading, that an adult would have to play this with the child. And a child that can read would have little interest in playing a "little kid's game." The game also runs slowly on my Vista machine, and when the congratulatory words pop up over the game board, you can't click through them. You have to stop playing until they disappear, then continue. The designers of this game had good intentions, but they should have worked with some teachers on what would be age-appropriate. Right now the graphics are preschool, while the game play is for much older kids.

should be for a preschooler lots of fun for that age group

True, there is too much reading to do but you can always hit the skip button. My 4 yr old grandson can play this game just fine without having to read anything. I explained the story and showed him how to play. It is really a very simple concept. He can play without any help from me once he got the idea which didn't take long. He really likes this game. Might not be for every 4 yr old it depends on the child. Some do not do will with puzzels. As an adult I don't like games with a lot of reading either. Directions are ok but a story line not ok. All that reading to set up the game, for me already makes it dull. Most of time you don't need it anyway, I skip all of it cause I just want to get on with it and play the game.
