Enjoyed it

If you are into the Paranormal and enjoy working with gadgets then you might enjoy this game. I enjoyed it but when it came to looking for the Hidden Objects you would only have so much light to look with(flashlight). Game can be challenging at certain spots.

HO Game - I couldn't finish the demo

I played 30 mins of the demo, curious as to the previous negative review feedback. I couldn't face playing any more. Moving from one HO to another HO from the same screen (no moving around) with a few puzzles thrown in, not not for me - but since the game description is after all HO, fair enough. For the HO scenes, the objects were not necessarily in size proportion to the surroundings which I found off putting. And the darkness of the scenes for me was not attractive to game play. I did think that finding ghost faces in the HO games was a nice touch. You can store 3 ghosts max at a time, which can create a 'hints' pool for when you want an object flagged to you. Which I definitely needed as I did not have too much patience with the game. My personal preference is for something more HOPA with an engaging story line I care about and makes me want to progress in the game to find out what happens next... for me, that was definitely missing here. If you are into HO heavy games without wandering about, maybe you want to check out the demo?

Not worth the time or money

This is a very poor addition to the Big Fish Game pond and was a very inferior rendition of a H.O. game. I have not yet completed this game and am in two minds whether to or not. The graphics were poor to average and 'furry' looking at best. There were no voice overs or speech bubbles and each character had a different colour script to match their hair or clothing and required lots of reading. After a short while I lost interest in the plot and the puzzles were not that crash hot either. The hidden objects were like trying find items in a partial shadowed room with a torch in every scene. I continued with the game for a while, hoping that it would improve - but it didn't as it seemed to drag on and on to become rather monotonous and boring.

Paranormal Investigations

I am a big fan of TAPS and I thought this game was very unique. You are investigating the houses, factories, warehouse, loading docks etc. in the town of Kotsmine Hills where many people were killed when a fire broke out at the factory and quickly engulfed the town. You get the choice of 1-4 rooms that cameras are set up in and you need to find all 15 items on the list, but, you only get a flashlight to search for these items, just as they do on the paranormal shows. Each room has 3 ghostly faces to find which give you up to 3 hints, if you already have 3 hints you get extra points. Some of the rooms will replace the flashlight with a thermal image camera or an emf reader which is a feature I haven't seen before. The mini games were fairly easy such as placing fuses of 4 different colors into 4 fuse slots. Once you put the fuses into all 4 slots you turn the power on and it will kick out the incorrect fuses. The only thing I really disliked about this game was the score tallies after each room that took forever, and you couldn't do anything but wait for the tallies to stop. I know that some people will hate the fact that you have to search hidden object scenes with a flashlight, but you get used to it fairly quickly so give it a chance, enjoy!
