Blood Ties

Vicki Nelson is an ex-cop private investigator who has teamed up with a 450 year old vampire, Henry Fitzroy, to solve the paranormal case of several members of the Hellfire organization. Although this story sounds very intriguing it is basically just a Hidden Object Game with a story attached. But, it is a really good Hidden Object Game. Each "case" or missing person investigation requires that several areas be investigated with a certain amount of items to be found in each scene. The objects are well hidden, not too small, and just the right amount of darkness to give it a challenge without making it frustrating. If you're a HOG fan you're going to love this game, if you are looking for a more interactive game where you use inventory items to solve the case, this is not for you, enjoy!

fun and easy

I tried the 1 hour free play and got hooked. It was quite fun! However, I went ahead and bought it thinking there would be an interesting follow up once I completed the cases. Not so..it was just over and I was disappointed.

Great Time Killer, Good Graphics

This is not a complicated HO game. The sound effects and graphics are what makes this interesting. There are no complicated puzzles to solve in order to move onto another level, it is just you and the shopping list. I play this a lot. It is a good memory challenge. I try to beat my own personal best time whenever I play.

Niceand fun

Help Vicky and her sexy vampire friend solve cases. I loved the HOG scenes. This is a pretty simple HOG, great for those new to this kind of genre. You don't need a walk through guide , just sit back and relax and have fun!.

Not as good as thought

This game was not as good as thought it would be. No character interaction, no challenge what so ever. It was actually pretty boring to me.

NOT Like TV Show At All!

Wake me up when it's over....oh, it is...sorry....must have dozed off. Could this game be any more boring? Could it NOT resemble that great t.v. show any more? Storyline: Solve the cases, find the big bad artifact pieces so Asarath won't come back. Every year, 14 members of the now defunct Hellfire Club get together, put the pieces together and bind Asarath to eternity - for another year. But, now 11 of the members of the Club are missing. Your job? Don't know. Graphics: Poor. Monochromatic color scheme. Tiny items. Sound: Was there any? Must have slipped by me. Game Play: Click "play". An index card describing the basic details of the missing person pops up. Then, there are 2 through ? buildings/places you go to to investigate. Investigate what? It's an HOG game, after HOG game after HOG game. Each site is an AWFUL HOG game. Oh, you can find additional hints since you only get 2 and those are hard to find as they tend to be transparent. And, use your extra hints before the "case" is over or you lose them. Find all the HOGs at all the sites and LEVEL OVER! THAT'S IT! Why even give a person's details? None of it's relevant. This game could be called "here we go on a scavenger hunt". Seriously. This is the WORST game ever - whether mystery, adventure, detective, t.v. show mimic, whatever - WORST! Besides being boring and ONLY consisting of HOGs, the HOGs are impossible to play - given the fact that your items are tiny - teensy tiny (I had my nose up to the screen), blended into the sepia-toned color scheme and hidden among hundreds and hundreds of other items. I wouldn't recommend this game to anyone even for a free coupon, credit, gift or sale. It's that bad. And, I HATE to give bad reviews. But, this is one game that deserves it.

Pure HOS game with no twists

This game is completely HOS based, with only one very weak puzzle at the end and no end graphics. Every scene looks alike and it's really just a succession of places to search. The storyline is based on an episode of the show, but any story would have worked since the show serves only as decoy.

Standard HOG

A pretty standard HOG, following the "Ravenhearst model". (In each chapter, a few locations are "open", and you need to find most of the objects in each location, in a given period of time, to move on.) The plot is rather thin, though it could appeal to fans of the Blood Ties TV series.

Time Passer

As stated, it's inspired by the t.v. series (which I never got to see). While not overly challenging it was pleasurable to play.

True HOG players game

I loved this game. Nice HOG, fun and didnt get me stressed! Not alot of travelling around and trying to remember what to do!
