Cake Mania takes a big step forward with the introduction of various types of stores in this installment. As fun and challenging as the old ones, but with lots of extras to play with! The graphics are cute, simple, but better than most TMGs tend to be. It's quirky, comical and amusing to boot.
this game is afun game! its the type of game that keeps you glued to the screen, making sure you two steps ahead of your customers. it has a great storyline ad the visuals are so fun and bright. The characters are all very familiar to me as i have owned and played nearly all from the cake mania series! If you like time management games then Cake Maniais a must. its worth while getting game like this because it keeps you captivated and busy. there are so many levels in each location and so much items to upgrade. so its a great game. GET IT!!
I really liked the idea of going to different shops to play, but I had a real serious problem with the "flowing star trail" cursor. it made it very hard to click on what I needed to click on to get it to work, After trying to click and click on the area I needed to get the task done, I just kept losing time, very frustrating if it wasn't for that, I might have considered purchasing the game, but what fun is a game if you can't get the tasks done in the right amount of time, because of the "fancy" cursor.
I've always been a huge fan of the Cake Mania series, and this version posed a completely new plot. While the change in scenery with the other three shops was entertaining, I would have preferred to play more in the Evan's Bakery. I also was unable to play in full screen or 3d mode without lag. Could just be my computer, but still mildly annoying. All in all, it did present some challenge in both Jill and Risha's shops making for longer game play.
