AT FIRST I HATED THIS GAME AND NOW I LOVE IT!

My advice is to first play this in the EASY mode and remember to HIT AN OPPOSING DISK in order to score. I just wasn't getting how to play this game and it took me the hour trial to figure it out. Now I love this game!

Boccia

Indeed a very nice change from all those other games. Very close related to Boccia and even billiard, as we call it in Germany. Like the old machine setting and music is pleasant. Have to aim to get your chip into the middle or knock the opponent out of the way. Very classic and fun. Comes with lots of hints and tips that can easily be transferred to the big real games such as pool.

Brings back memories

This game should be fun for those who have enjoyed playing crokinole for real in the past. I used to play this when I was much younger, when you had to flick the disks with your finger. I must say the computer version is much easier on the fingernails! And much easier to aim, at least on the easy setting. Found it almost too easy to win, but did not get a chance to try the more challenging setting before my trial time was up. All in all a very good computer version of a classic board game.

Challenging but fun

This is a great game, my free hour was up before I realised it (just when I was winning too) The gameplay is like carpet boules but you use discs to score which you fire in to the centre. The person who plays first has to get their disc into the score zone then the next player has to touch that disc before scoring themselves. After you complete a level it shows you tactics for scoring and preventing your opponents from scoring, these are well worth a read. The grapohics were well rendered and the music was apt and I think this is a keeper. Give it a try.

great games take you back to the time before computers (shuffleboard)

What a fun game it was nice to have the competition even if it was just a computer I live alone It took me back to a time when there were no tv. or cell phones. what we did have was a party line where you could listen to other conversations. We've come a long way!!!!! I would also like to add it was a nice pace from adventure and hidden objects games.

Just fun!

This game is only fun! Since I play the first level, I know that I will buy this game, because I don't want to stop to play! Please try it and you will love it!

Nice change of pace

Like this game alot. So far only played the easy setting and just won my first game. LOL Kind of tricky when you think you have the shot line lined up but Nope hit the peg. I don't know if it's only me but the aim line is a wee bit dim, even after turning my brightness down. Overall this is a very good game and really enjoy it, hope to find more of them. Getting a little burned out on the H.O. games so this is a refreshing way to relax and have fun.

Refreshingly different.

Loved this game, it made a nice change from TM or HO. It reminded me of playing marbles in my youth (many years ago). You could also compare it to boules. The idea is to get your disc in the scoring zone and prevent other players from getting theirs in (sounds a lot simpler than it is) Once your disc is in the scoring zone, your opponent has to knock your disc first before being allowed to score or vice versa if your opponent played first. There are tactics involved in this one but it's fairly easy to pick up and aiming and shooting can be easy or hard, you choose. The level of challenge is pretty good, not too easy and not too hard, just enough to keep you on your toes. You definitely need to try this one as my description just doesn't do it justice. Graphics are great too. Enjoy!!!

Steampunk and Challenging!

Two of my favorite things! This game was a little hard to warm up to at first and I didn't get into it until the first half hour was up and I understood the scoring and techniques better. I found the tutorial somewhat lacking. It really helps to read the dimly lit bottom banner to know the rules at first and avoid foul shots. But once you get into it, it's addictive. Like shuffleboard, Sorry sliders, battle spinners, etc only with a dark steampunk feel.

That needed change

It is good to get that refreshness of a new play style of a game. If you have been hooked for a while on the rush here fix that, deliver this burger, find this, or solving that. Change gears and give this game a try, you might find it offers a cycle break of the normal games you play.
