Loved this game!

When I saw this game based on my favourite Brit show, I knew I would love it. What I love are the bright graphics, the characters and the story line. I'm a fan of the street and for me it was one of the best. For me, a little old lady with declining vision, this was a perfect game and these types of games are few and far between. I had written a longer, detailed review earlier but my computer froze so I'll not go into detail again here suffice it to say that for this little old lady who loves HOGs, but not the dark, gloomy, wading through snakes, spiders and decaying asylums or mansions variety, this was like a breath of fresh air. Exactly my cup of tea. Mini-games could be skipped, conversations could be skipped, no penalities for clicking and it ran very smoothly. If I had to make any negative remark, it might just be that the hidden objects themslves were a bit too jumbled. I didn't think that was totally necessary. But, overall, I loved this game and only wished there were a few more like it. Thank you so much Big Fish!!!!

Great Fun Love It !!

I am really enjoying this game! Finding the hidden objects is fun, had to really search for some of the items. I am a big fan of the Coronation Street Soap. Love the great pictures of the cast of the show. This is just my kind of game bright and cheerful. The only reason I stopped playing was to buy it.

My Favourite Show is a Game!

I've been a Coronation Street fan since 1982. As soon as I saw Big Fish had this game, I had to try it! Loved it! The graphics were real and I felt like I was on the show. Great Hidden Objects Game.

Coronation Street: Mystery of the Missing Hotpot Recipe

This is a hidden object game and when you find all the hidden objects in the scene, then you may have to look for a piece of the Missing Hotpot Receipt. When I started the game, it was not what I thought it was. I thought it was going to be a cooking type game. I would recommend this game.

Skip the dialog

I am enjoying this HO game by skipping the dialog. I had never heard of the show before the game, but have gone online and read some of the reviews...I don't know if Comcast Cable offers the show on the BBC but will look into it. This game is a nice change of pace. Love the music! Maybe if they used real voices for the dialog it would have helped! This is a buy for me!

Harder than it looks

I'm not as good at HOGs as I thought. This was a great test! You really have to be on the lookout for the objects. I think this was a great game, story line, so-so, but if you are into finding hidden objects, this is the game!! Good job

Fun and challenging, enjoyable Hidden Object Game

I enjoyed this game very much, and I would tell other Hidden Object Game player's too Try this one

Fun Hidden Object Game

I help Betty track down missing pieces of her famous hotpot recipe and i love it.

What's The Problem??

It was not as bad as the reviews said it was, I don't think. Apparently because of the games BF has been putting out such as all death, blood, ghost, etc. as well as walkthroughs, special editions, collectors editions, stredagy guides etc. everything that tells and shows you how to play the game instead of you playing yourselfs you forgot how to "search" and because of all the negitive feedback and all of you telling about the game and where to look for the items such as "shadows" a really good HO player will zip through the game, as I did. Don't bother reading the dialog, I didn't and I usually don't; especially when it is this kind of dialog, just get to the game. I personally do not like using "real" people, its kinda creepy but then again it fits with the type of games that are put out now. But all and all the game was not as bad as all the reviews said it was.

Only if you want a challenge

I appreciated this game for overall appeal. I enjoyed the setting, the story, the people. It felt like a quiet English town, and you were in the middle of it. What I didn't like was the HOscenes. Most of the time I wasn't finding objects, I was finding shadows. I don't mind a cluttered HOS, that's part of the challenge, but when the object I'm finding is a shadow of something, it makes me wonder what the clutter is there for. I played the FULL hour of the demo, but would not buy the game-it's too hard. This game would be fantastic for the HOGamer who really wants a challenge. The upside of the HOS is that there is no penalty for random clicking and you have unlimited hints. I just wished I could have progressed the dialogue at my own pace, because I enjoyed the characters and their stories.
