I'm getting a little tired of the same old thing. This game is a little out of the norm and really fun. The hidden objects scenes are a little challenging, but this is a very entertaining game. Try it! I think you will like it.
As a big fan of the TV series I just had to give the demo a spin and I am so glad I did! With only 22mins left, I knew I had to buy this game! The visuals are amazing(especially the cut scenes) I love the fact that you get to play as all the different agents and the story line had me hooked from the start. Challenging enough for any level player and I look for more games like this in the future, extemely original!
I love the TV show and I love this game. They have the profilers characters to a tee. The HO's are a bit different, and the cases are as good as on the TV show. I would highly recommend it for any wannabe detectives.
It took me a little more than the hour trial to really get into this game, but by the time I was half way done with the first case, I was totally hooked! Loved the hint feature. It points out items when prompted during H/O scenes, and it gives you a choice of what to get help with outside of H/O scenes. The characters stayed true to the show. Didn't like the load times for the scenes, but it wasn't that bad. Overall, this game is a nice change of pace from the usual fantasy/creepy/gothic games out there. I even started watching the show again. Make another one please.
Of course, I am a fan of the show, so when I saw the game I was hoping that it wouldn't let me down, and it hasn't! It has three game modes, casual, advanced, and expert. The HOS were well done. You have some items that are scrambled, and you have to locate the question marks in the scenes to both gain hints and unscramble the letters of the items. You play as each of the show's characters in turn, which makes it interesting. For those that are concerned with length of game play, I did buy this one, and I've only played through the first case so far, and that took me a bit over two hours. Just when I thought I had the first case wrapped up, another murder took place, and I realized I still had a ways to go. And, I still have another case to solve! There are different types of mini games to play, and while this is not the most exciting game out there, I really enjoyed the sense that the case could be pulled from reality, and it wasn't full of dragons, witches, or ghosts!
I did the hour review and then bought the game. Was not disappointed at all. A good playing game, just hard enough to give it zip but not so hard that I had to look in the walk thru. I enjoyed each of the characters. Only wished the characters talked instead having to read the dialog. But all in all, I really liked this game. I did enjoy the inserted mahjong segements. I would love to see a sequel. I also liked the fact that were two different games to play.
I am a HOholic so this game was right up my alley! Mostly HO with a few easy puzzles mixed in. Story line was good, but wish it was not reading the lines. Prefer to hear the voices as it makes it more engaging game play. I play on easy mode and had no problems figuring out where to go and what to do. No sparkles other than where the HO scenes were at. Enjoyed the game and it kept my attention. There are two crime scenes to solve.
I am a 'Criminal Minds' fan. This game really sticks to the TV version. There are the usual HOS, with a slight twist, to make them enjoyable. The objects are not too hard to find, and they are not so dark you can't find anything. In the second crime, you get more of the talk you are used to, if you watch CM, you know what I am talking about. I hope they come up with a series of these, I will purchase them all. It would be really nice if the TV 'voices' were there. Good Job. Great game.
A very different, challenging game. It was an unusual way to play a hidden object game, and I enjoyed it tremendously. The visual and sound effects were fantastic. Good job Big Fish!
I'm getting a bit burned out on the hidden object games, especially with the same old tired story line or substandard graphics/gameplay. This captured my interest and I really enjoyed it....decided to purchase about 15 minutes in. I really felt that the story and the gameplay meshed well, not as if one was an excuse for the other. Very nice job!
