I almost skipped this one given the end of month, trying to get the most of my points, etc. The game however is worth the price especially as a special and I paid more at my local theater recently to see a movie, for perspective. I know many are turned off by anything that suggests of the "occult" but there is little "black " or satanic here. More mysticism than darkness and the usual motivation of human greed. Nice storyline, believable. Great graphics, music is not obtrusive. Puzzles and HOGS are average. Not too much backtracking which I find really annoying. There is a logical flow to what you find and the use of "real life" people and their distress adds to the motivation of the game. The characters do not appear robotic which I appreciate. Nice job and I'm glad I bought it, even at the end of the month. Very entertaining and fun to play. I didn't get to finish it today, but am glad to have it for the weekend. Thumbs up!
Love the games that come from these developers and this new one is just as good. I like that it is story driven and that from the start you find yourself wondering if the madman might just be Professor Child who brought you to Cannon Rock in the first place. There is a good mix in the types of puzzles in the game and lots to do that I like. Hope everyone will give the game a chance for themselves and not reject it just because of a review.
The game is AWESOME storyline is great and I just love the graphic, they are clear and clean....not fussy. Your able to see the HOG items clearly and not have to get a magnifying glass to see them. Theres alot of back and forth but thats what make the game interesting and keeps you on your toes. Cant wait till I get paid next so I can buy and finish this game. Its on my must buy list.
Hi: I think that this game has a good story line, good graphics and is a long playing game. You get your money's worth with this game. I have been playing this game off and on for two days and have just reached the extra game play. Fantastic. I would recommend this game. Stitch333
After playing the beta version of this game, I have been waiting for the completion! The graphics are excellent; clear and easy to recognize. This game is one of the very best I have had the pleasure of playing. It will keep you on the edge of your seat as you go through twists and turns. The special introductory price is a real steal!! I recommend this game for all levels. Enjoy!!
Overall it plays well and is fun. The minigames are doable.
Wow! I really can't understand why this game don't have a 5 star rating! I enjoyed this game immensely. It was the perfect blend of HO and Adventure. I get so bored of the games where every turn you take there is a HOS. This was not like that at all and most of the puzzles were unique and not the same run of the mill ones you find in all HO games. I really didn't want it to end, and I am already looking forward to re-playing it again!
. What a lovely, interesting game. The music is very calming, the artwork is excellent, special effects are very well done, with great attention to detail. Each scene is a masterpiece, and the clues are very challenging to find. The trial hour went by very quickly. Its been a while since I needed the strategy guide for help, but I will buy the collectors addition, as I found I referred to it a couple of times. The Hidden Object items were findable and cleaver. The story is fun, and the animation scenes blend will with the game. There is a lot of artful thought that has gone into making this game, and as there is a "first day special offer" for it, I am going to buy it now instead of waiting till next month.
Its often the little touches that make a game stand out from the rest. There are some clever animations in this game and I love the real actors.. Playing advanced mode there's some hand holding but the challenge is still ok. Excellent graphics, and well done HO scenes. I'm really enjoying everything about it...not too many games keep me wanting to play to the end like this one does.
Using real actors in the cut scenes, genius. I had goosebumps from the beginning scenes. I'm playing it very slowly so it will last longer. Not to say it too short. Just prolonging the fun.
