I do enjoy HOG where you can remodel something. This was a good one! I enjoyed going to the various rooms looking for objects. The rooms were fun. In each room you were looking for objects that would unlock other rooms. Besides finding specific items from a list, you also had to put items back into the room where they belonged. That could be a challenge once in a while. You also had to find so many of a given type of object in each room. Once each room was cleared, they could be rented out. You also look for coins in almost every scene and as you were finding things you were earning the money to redecorate the outside of the Inn. The choices for redecorating were beautiful and fun. I need to find more games like this one. No one is lost or dead, and no creepy music for a change. Just relaxing fun!
Didn't look like my kind of game, but I really enjoyed it! Had a bit of a problem in the art room scene with the drawer and brass rose trim. They didn't want to go into place and it took several attempts to get them in place and complete the scene. Would be nice to have more variety of decor, paint colors, etc for the Inn decor. Would have liked to be able to decorate for the wedding too! Also, even though we are allowed to name the inn on the sign, the character who helps along the way continues to call it Driftwood Inn. Could have been a little longer, but it was still enjoyable enough that I simply played it again when I finished. Great game!
This was a fun game. I loved renovating the inn and finding objects in the various themed rooms. I'd like to see a sequel to this game.
Lots of hidden objects to find and three levels to work through. Generating money to renovate the house (and then having selections for the exterior modification) was fun. I liked that there wasn't a lot of strategy -- just fun things to find. If you want more "game play/strategy" this isn't for you. But if you want hidden objects and lovely graphics, I strongly recommend this one!!
Very nice game, finished pretty quick but kept me entertained. Good graphics and sound. Highly recommended.
I still play it anyway because I'm used to them now. But, I have wasted Hints when I tried and tried to place an object where it should go, but it wouldn't put it there. I clicked on Hint, and by gosh, that IS where they put it. You HAVE to make sure you're on the "sweet spot" when placing. But it's still fun and interesting....you collect coins, you find magnifying glasses around the room to get extra hints, there are a lot of rooms and I just think it's relaxing to play. OH....and you can find "bombs" hidden in the room, blow them up and it will flash the screen blank except for the objects you need....for a few seconds. You can also look for magnets and pick them up.....objects you need will begin to point toward them. Lots of different things to do....just a fun, relaxing game to play and get away from all the blood and gore showing up in LOTS of the HO games.
I wish there were more of this type of game. I have play it over and over again. Objects are large enough to see but not too easy. Still have trouble with hints and coins even with playing a lot.
I absolutely loved this game, as it wasn't that difficult to find objects but they way that the money you made collecting objects went into renovating the exterior of the inn, made it more entertaining and re-playable, just to see how all the options looked together. The simplicity of the game of find and then sell was easy but fun, I rarely used hints throughout the game, this just made it much more enjoyable for me. With opening and finding new rooms, with new things and putting them in either their correct room or spot was a good way to give the game an extra edge.
this is sooo cute, i recommend it to everyone if they're into building homes and stuff and decorating houses. altough the graphics are not really the best, it's still not bad, i had fun playing it!
Very good visual scenes! Very nice game, but a bit quickly played. It feels good to change for a game that doesn't have a heavy and depressing atmosphere.
