I only have time for quick HOs. I don't have time to keep track of everything. I have enough in my life to keep me occupied. I appreciate a game where I don't have to remember or find things that are so crazy. THANKS FOR THIS GAME. Some of us appreciate an almost mindless game to relax. BTW, I do my best resolution for my day's problems when I work puzzles. It makes me able to get things done.
What do you 80 or so people want-this is a great Plain Old Hidden Object Game! Lots and lots of hidden objects and great puzzles no real adventure but it's a plain old HOG . Storyline was good and visual and sound were OK too. The game is great for any one who loves a POHOG!!! Give it a try I think you'll like it.
I like to hunt for hidden objects. I like to play the card games.
This review is for the whole game playing in expert mode. Story: You take on the role of a detective who has been summoned to Eastville Opera House to investigate the murder of the Queen of Drama, Dolores Molinero interrogating 5 suspects. 4 chapters and I was already into chapter 2 when the demo time was up. 2 play modes: Casual/Expert: The only difference is Expert takes longer to charge up for hint and skip which is still pretty quick as it's under a minute. No voice overs as there are text boxes that come up on the screen that you read/click through to move forward in the game to follow the story but can be skipped. This game is: A LOT of HO scenes, with story and some puzzles. You do get some inventory however there is no "wandering around" to this game or having to figure out where the inventory items go as this game does have sparkles to it, tells you what to do and what inventory to use. HO scenes: Find by word list and the ones in yellow or green color that you find are your inventory items. Some of the scenes I did find to be on the Sanford & Son junkyard pile side and some items really small and tiny. Puzzles: Most are repeated throughout the game but just to name some of them: Lock picking, jig saw, slider picture as you move the pieces to form a picture, slider puzzles to get the key, rotate the rings, number pad, maze puzzle where you have to drag the ball. My overall impression of the game: Well to my surprise I really enjoyed this game as it has the things in it that usually turn me off: No voice overs, Sanford & Son junk piles, small/tiny items and the sparkle hand holding however in spite of all this I was still drawn into this game immediate. I found the story while it's been done many times before intriguing as it held my interest to the very end as I purchased it immediately when the demo time was up. The graphics/artwork I found to be very well done as well. Also to my surprise although some of the HO scenes
I wasn't too sure about this game, but when I tried it, it was really good! Good Parts: Easy to find Hidden Objects Incredibly fast hint recharge. It was like I never used it Great Puzzles. The game in general was quite fun. No shortage of Hidden Object Scenes OK Parts: They had the right idea with the storyline. It would've been much better had there been some voice overs. Bad Parts: Graphics were not very good. It didn't feel like I was playng a 2012 game. No variety in the game. It basically just went like this: Scene, Puzzle, Scene, Interview, Scene, Puzzle, Scene. Had there been a little more variety, or even a little bit more moving around, the game would've been better. I really enjoyed this game. Had there been better graphics, a slightly better storyline or more variety, I would've given it a 5. I'm quite sure you'll love it!
I've only played about 30 minutes into the demo, but I've really enjoyed it. It's relatively easy, which can be enjoyable... very relaxing. I still love the HO games, and there are HO scenes galore! Can't address the sound quality, etc., because I don't have my speakers turned up, but I didn't find the dialog/text annoying at all. The graphics were fairly well done, and I had fun playing the mini-games. Since I'm usually playing these games late at night, my brain appreciates simplicity! Nothing too challenging or impossible to figure out! Overall, a lot of fun, and I plan to buy.
I read the reviews before starting this game & most didn't recommend this game but I like the game. It is a nice game for us older players that don't like to jump from scene to scene looking for clues.I like games that are not so complex that you get stressed out playing them. If you like games that aren't to hard this is the game to play.I enjoyed the hog scenes.
I liked the hidden objects. I do not like all the flippin puzzles, but I did like the factor you could skip them. That is an excellent factor
Much has been said against this game so I was a little leery of trying it out, but am glad I did. I believe that most of the negative comments come from those that do not like HOG. They are more into adventure. This is an easy game and the hidden objects are easy to find as are the puzzles easy to solve. This is a game for beginners and can be used by others just for fun and a little easy brush up. The sounds are not all that great but I usually go with the speakers turned off anyway as I think most of the sounds out there are boring. The story line is not one of the best but it is in keeping with the majority out there. Buying at the reduced price is a good buy for a game that is more fun than challenge.
HOs - somewhat good Music- some are annoying Graphic- really crisp and great and neat though i like this game but there are something need to fix in this game P/S-try it first then U know! :)
