Despite being a recurring theme: hospital / fear / escape, ... I really liked. Is a thriller game, very well done, although not scary. Great sound and neat graphics . Personally, I like much more that kind of atmosphere than "too modern" scenes . Plot is interesting and appealing: people kidnapped and hospitalized as "sick", but their skills are the real reason for holding them: levitation, photo-transport, hypnosis ... the doctors want/need them to commit crimes. Do not have excessive amount of HOS, and they are not interactive or challenging but have good visibility. Pleasant. Mini games are varied, some known, others new and enjoyable. Is not a challenging game, but provides an excellent entertainment, ie, fulfills its mission !!
What I liked: intriguing story and characters; plot moved well and there was great addictive urgency to finish each objective - it was hard to pull myself away; excellent artwork and challenging creative puzzles. It reminds me of some of the older MCF games. Also, there was some back and forth exploration of different floors and rooms, but certainly not like other games I've played. The back and forth was logical and made sense to me and therefore I wasn't bothered by it at all. What I didn't like: the bonus is ok - not the same production value as the main game, however it does answer some questions. Get this game!
Yet another HOG set in a creepy hospital! But the great soundtrack, creepy, imaginative artwork and interesting story make this one stand out. You have a psychic ability that lets you travel into photographs, and these locations make for nice interludes to break up the hospital scenes. The puzzles are interesting and challenging without being frustrating, and there are even a few original ones. The storytelling is great as you feel uneasy most of the way and unsure of who you can trust. The bonus gameplay continues the ending of the story (which seemed a little abrupt) but it's actually a prequel to the game. I thought the bonus adventure was even more fun than the main game and felt the CE was worth it (as far as CEs go).
I didn't find the game boring at all. There were a few challenging puzzles but nothing that made me quit in frustration. The background story is interesting and a little creepy and you do have to go on the elevator quite a bit back and forth but I didn't find it to be that time consuming as others suggested. I usually delete games as soon as I play them if I don't see any replay value but I found this one interesting and challenging enough to play it twice.
Loved this game....excellent play and quite long. I happen to like back tracking for clues. The best part was the Bonus game. It's actually the prelude and was really fun. One of my favorite games thus far.
I have played so many big fish games, and this one is most defiantly my favorite! Great visuals! Not cheesy like some other games. Love this game!!!
For a clich? setting, and story, this was a fun experience! The puzzles are the perfect challenge level, properly rising in difficulty, the characters are engaging, and the mystery is compelling. All in all, one of the best experiences I've ever had with a hidden object game. The only problem I had was having to ride up and down in that elevator so much! F.A.C.E.S. also had an excellent collector's edition. The extra level was great and the built in guide worked smoothly.
Vogat's F.A.C.E.S. CE is Indescribably delicious - so great as to defy description. The artistic graphics, creative storyline, imaginative game play, perfect music, clever minigames are meticulously designed just for our pleasure. Hm . . . m . . . m. What a clever setting for all you adoring zealous "mad" gamers.
Whew !! Many Congrats to BFG for this thriller !!! Music,well.......yeah ,ARTWORK just plain awesome and the story line kept me up 'til late at night......Yeah,I know, same 'ol ASYLUM razz ma tazz, but,DIFFERENT !! I was blown away by the BETA,then just HAD to go for the free hour demo, then "Gotsha" , , , , , , Bought the CE . Glad I did, where's the sequel,BFG ????
One of the best adventure/Hog ever! As others have stated...Compelling storyline....variety of puzzles...great graphics and one of my fav requirements...an awesome soundtrack to set the mood! Yes there is 'back & forth travel' but it is logical as are the items acquired. I absolutely LOVED this game!!!! PLEASE MAKE A SEQUEL!!!! KUDOS TO The Game makers! Oh did I mention...SEQUEL PLEASE!!!!
