I bought this game a few years ago. I have completed it a lot since it is one of my favorites to always come back to. I like that is not too taxing on me, more relaxing and familiar. I still play it today at least once a month or so.
I loved this game. I don't like time management games but this one is very relaxing. I spent a couple of afternoons after work playing this just to relax. I love the mini game, making pizzas! I played this over a year ago & finished it & just started it again this weekend. Give it a try! I got it when it was on sale, so that was even better. It is repetitive as far as how you build your palaces but it was still fun. The story line was ok but I don't really get in to those on any game.
This is a game that seems cute at first. The first few levels seem promising for harder levels to come so I bought it during the big sale. However, I was to be disappointed as the levels never grow challenging - not even the slightest bit. Once you get all the buildings unlocked, (which is early in the game) the game doesn't change. Every level is the same with a predictable story line being the only variable. Sometimes, where you build the castle has something that needs to be cleared out, but that requires nothing more than assigning someone to do it. I've found this game has become monotonous as each level I have to build all the buildings and play all the games over and over with no change in sight. I've only 2 palaces left to build and I'm happy I got this game on sale.
I enjoy games that are not too challenging because I play them while watching TV. I've completed this game several times, yet I find myself going back to it. I love the mini games because they are some of my favorite games in one place. It's just enough for me.
It's worth playing once, it could have been much better, a little confusing at first, but very redundant, play the trial first. When you play the majong part, it's hard to see the tiles because of the way the cursor is, not much of a challenge.
I really enjoyed this game as I am not a time mangement player - all that frantic clicking isn't me. So this game gave me my yearning for TM games without the mad rush! You have your choice of mini games depending if you want to store up on gold, wood, stone/ore or food etc. mini games are - mahjong, ball/brick busting game, making pizza (love this), silhoutte - choose items in a conveyer belt that fits into your food carton, match 3. You want to store up on each of these (food, ore, wood etc) to build your palaces. You can buy orbs as well. For TM or people that like 'building' games like build a lot etc then this isn't for you, as it's an easier laid back game. I think its for people who like TM games but want a break and just enjoy those minigames or people like me that can't get into TM games as it's too hard and just like relaxed game play. There isn't much variety, storyline is cute but not riveting, but I loved the minigames, real wee gem I picked up as a daily deal.
At first I thought I'd be bored with this game. Minigames? where's the real game, I thought! Yet after an hour I discovered with shock I had run out my demo and was desperately wanting more! It was too much fun watching my resources, planing my building strategy, buying from the traders and growing quickly to accomplish my goals of building the palaces. I wanted to see how the story developed too, which was shaping up to be very interesting! The minigames themselves were definitely interesting and fun, plus you can buy and place orbs to dodge those games you don't care for so much. Definitely on my buy list!!
This was one of the worst games I've ever played. The story was awful and disjointed. The game play was boring and exactly the same on each level. There are less than 20 levels to play. The only redeeming quality was that the castles were sort of cool to look at, otherwise a total flop!
