Almost missed this one...

I had 6 games credits and I needed a game so I looked for past games that were not CE's. I found this one which I must have demoed but passed up. I really love this game, it reminds me of a Dark Dimension's game. Easy HOG's, lots of running around, and plenty of objects to find and use. High quality game IMO. Have FUN!!!

Awesome game!

This was truly an awesome game for me. Hint button was great, when you hit it cat meows, sounds likt the real deal. Graphics were good, enough of an adventure to keep you busy and not stressed, very relaxing. I didn't get get all the cats but will when I play next mode. Hidden scens just enough that you really didn't have strain your eyes.

Cats Rule

I almost didn't get this game because of reviews, that mentioned below par artwork. So I played the trial finally and was sorry when it was over. Okay art work could have been better in spots, it looked like someone had outlined parts of the drawing, and added extra lines to some areas. However the game, kept my interest, and I loved looking for the cats, you must collect during the game. I also loved the kitten on the hint button, he was swating at butterflies, licking paws and if you poked him he meowed. All in all I had a good time playing it.

Delightful

Loved this game. It was relaxing enough for me to go through 2 times. Simple storyline. I really liked that the game didn't start out with the usual car crash/coma or letter from a relative. Well worth the money.

Ghost Towns: The Cats of Ulthar

Only used the hint button to find out where next I had to go. Took a lot of the grind out since my memory is bad and the next area to be in was quite a few screens away. I thought the game was very good and had quite a lot of content. I enjoyed the puzzles and didn't have to use the skip button at all. I bought it because of other recommendations I had read and am very glad I purchased it. I recommend it as a buy.

Ghost Towns:The Cats of Ulthar

This was an excellent game.I knew after the trial period I had to buy it.It kept you on your toes as to where you had to go next. For the price it was a great buy.It was a good way to spend an afternoon.

great game

I hate cats but was able to ignore that part. Great story. Enjoyable music. Nice challenge. Great graphics except during mini games. I really ejoyed the back and forth, collecting objects, and then needing to use them elsewhere.

Just For The Fun Of It

GAME COMPLETED MANY TIMES Okay, I admit it, I am the very definition of a crazy cat lady, but this is still a delightful little game to play. I liked the story. The locally revered cats suddenly go crazy and attack and kill an old mad couple. Menes, a young vagabond, is accused of using magic on them. We are enlisted by his sister to rescue him. This leads to discovering the history of the town, rescuing cats, and seeing ?justice is done?. It?s a very satisfying feel good ending, that rounds the story out well. Strictly for HO lovers, this game has many HO scenes, and each is visited three times. Each chapter one of several jigsaw-style puzzles appear ? all easy. There is a fair amount of seek and find adventure, a few puzzles and mini-games, but this is a HO adventure. Viewed in that light it is a bit of light-hearted fun. Returning to this game after a year?s worth of extravaganzas and spectacles, my initial reaction was ?Oh dear, the graphics are so grainy? ? not poorly drawn, just, well, washed out I guess, like an old shirt. True, but we?ve been spoiled, and sometimes it?s nice to take a break from the visual feasts and enjoy the equivalent of a home cooked meal. I wouldn?t have wanted to pay CE price for this one, but as an SE, it is worth your pennies.

Lovely Game

Just finished this lovely game, I did enjoy it. The hint cat I found amusing, did anyone else notice it washes it's paw & tries to catch passing flies. 24 cats to find as an extra. Good storyline with a suprise ending. Quite a lot of HOS which you really had to look for some items but excellent hint if you got stuck. also hint very good at telling you where you need to go next. As an SE it was well worth the money. I hope to see more from this DEV. Thanks BF & Dev. for a very enjoyable game.

This was good!

Overall, this game is worth the regular edition price. If you like cats and can get over that the cutscenes seem a little old, the rest of the game is quite nice. The HOs aren't too muddy and the music isn't annoying, and overall the story is fairly unique. The level of challenge presented is right in the middle; there were a few puzzle that were pretty challenging and maybe even one or two that I skipped, but not impossible. Most of the other puzzles were pretty easy. There are tons of items you get to pile up in your inventory and lots of back-and-forth things to do, but this wasn't nearly as annoying as it is in some games because you aren't presented with an entire sprawling world to back-and-forth over. It's just a very small town, so it wasn't anything to cry about. There's also a fun extra feature for you to collect all 24 cats hidden throughout the non-HO scenes, and while there isn't a reward for finding all the cats, it offers another level of challenge. Also; the fact that this game worked with my computer to play in windowed mode is another plus in my book.
