Really old boring game; would be nice to know release dates of games so we could have a clue.
If your not into the dark kind of game, this is for you. I enjoy playing the timed mode. Cute storey line. Not super challenging on the free hour. Buying it to see if it gets more challenging as the game goes on. I would definitly recommend this fun game.
A successful m3 game. Especially in Relax mode makes it fun. The normal mode is unfortunately quite exhausting.
The chain match of this game is awesome! You can get quite a long and twisting train, then poof its gone. Add exploding pieces, bonus pieces, and bonus easter eggs and you get a great time. Not very good at finding the hidden objects or fixing the chocolate pipes, but they have skip buttons for people like me.;) Another must have!
The game graphics are very nice but there are too many screens with minimal dialogue. The matching is repetitive without much variation in the quantity of pieces to match. I did not discover a way to "undo" the path I'd taken so if you don't get every item in a string, single items will be remain making your work more difficult. There is a relaxed mode.
One of my favorite levels is the pipes - but even in relaxed mode a timer is forced on it - perhaps it should just hold off til solved. I really like all the game play but if i chose to play relaxed mode I would like all levels to be relaxed.
I truly did not expect to like this game as much as I did. Storyline: You were sent as a child to live with your Aunt by your Grandfather as both of your parents were killed in a horrific accident, yet you survived. You play Cathy, who has now graduated from college, received a letter from your grandfather who informs you that he is tired, the candy factory is in trouble and he wants you to take over and, basically, fix it. How can you refuse? It is your legacy. So, you say goodbye to your Aunt and off you go to meet your kind Grandfather Winston. But, all is not well. Berthold, your Grandfather's longtime assistant expected the candy factory to revert to himself when the "old man" retired. He has failed to convince Grandfather Winston that the factory would be better off converted to selling cork and rubber to no avail. Then, you come, dismissing Berthold's ideas as well. This candy factory is your legacy so you begin repairing machines as they break down - all around you - all the time. Is this a coincidence or is someone sabatoging the machines? You will find out in this amazing match 3 (not really, see gameplay below) game. Graphics: I would not say cartoonish but definitely not lifelike. A fun, possibly cartoonish, claymation type of graphics, both in characters and the village. Colors were bright, cheerful, snow falling reminded me of hot chocolate and ice skating. Very relaxing. Sound/Voices: There were no voiceovers so that's that. Sound effects were fine. Music was ok. Relaxing. I apologize. I am a grandma who learned how to tune things out a long time ago - lol. You had to read everything, but that alright because it just seemed to fit well with the environment. It was all put together very well. Gameplay: There are 2 modes of play - timed or relaxing. I played on relaxing. This is not typical match 3 game. Your gameboard is more like a honeycomb and you match strings of 3 or more fruits, chocolate, nuts, etc. I had to restart the level once bec
During the trial it doesn't show you the part of the game that is hidden objects (the picture is so dark, you can't see the picture never mind find the objects and you can't get out of it. I just click all over the screen and just wait till the cursor finds the objects) and there is also a section that you have to put a puzzle together that is a maze using something like paper clips. That you can get out of. I want my money back.
