Great game, good storyline, grafic and challening
About a 4 ? hour adventure. Ethan has called you, asking you to come to Witchville because the population has disappeared. You have 6 hours to solve the mystery or you?ll be trapped forever. It turns out the population, including Ethan by this time, have turned into ghosts, so you will have to release them. You have to accomplish half you task in Witchville and half in New City. I thought the first half of the game was much more interesting and compelling than the last half. Personally, I don't think the CE has enough extras to recommend itself over the SE. Some details: - Graphics are a bit murky at times. - Journal has your significant events; active tasks are highlighted when you curse over the notes. - HOS are very busy, but objects are large and spread out for visibility. - Inventory sometimes needs to be combined. - Animation and special effects are good. - HINTS ? Outside the HOS is very, very specific (ex: get the axe from the glass house; check Vesta?s poster in the corridor to find the code for the cash register in the toy shop; take the whetstone from it; sharpen the axe; remove branch from the tree). Played casual so don?t know if the harder difficulty would give as much information. - It would have been nice to have voice overs
I thought this game was fun and challenging loved it
This was a very well made and enjoyable game with smooth game play, great graphics, and a fairly good background story and length. There was a good balance of adventure, hidden objects and puzzles, and I found the challenge to be moderate on the advanced level. The bonus was also well designed with a good length. I originally thought this game was going to have a spooky theme, but it seemed to be more sci-fi as the game progressed. It reminded me of Elixir of Immortality, although I thought the graphics were much better in this game. It was a little hard to get into at first, but it grew on me as I played. However, I did not think it was nearly as good as some earlier games by these developers, such as Gravely Silent and Reincarnations 2, both of which I really loved. Overall, a good game. I always look forward to more from these developers.
Interesting, but .. not quite great ! I skipped a few games, in fact, some are cool, challenging, others are a little boring. It's not the kind of game I want to go nonstop, there's nothing special, nothing new! Good graphics, good sound, but not inspire to buy, just to play the free trial !
Based on the 60 Min Demo. Took a while for me to get into the storyline, but by the end of the demo, I was hooked. If you're an X-Files fan, you'll like this one. The hints are very helpful, good graphics, good written dialogue.
This would have got 5 stars for me had it been longer. Nice graphics, decent storyline, 3 levels of skill, so suits everyone. But, it did need to be about 1/2 as long again.
It is an ok game BUT to much going all over the place for clues to keep the game going forward. I turned off the music, gets old fast. Not all the HO are tagged correctly so you have to guess. Hard to find all of them sometimes. When you hit the hint button it tells you what to do and where. I like a small hit so I have to us my brain.
Actually, I'm enjoy playing this game. It's keep me wanting play 'til end. Two words, love it!
