The storyline is so great, back to the history of Templars! In the beginning seems easy, but it will getting more complicate and challenger..and always better. The cute scenes are with real people, is amazing ! There are a lot of brand new and enjoyable mini-games . The HOS are also different - the inventory has to be used and sometimes does not end at the moment, you got to return later! Is long, fun, challenging, very nice atmosphere...so, really worth the price! highly recommend!
Really liked this hidden object game as there was a great balance between the hidden object and strategy parts of the game. The graphics and story are strong and the length is good. there are challenging puzzles. Spoiler... I especially liked... that you didn't need to go back to the hidden objects a second or third time, this really irks me with games as it feels like a lazy way to keep collecting objects.
Terrific game - longer than most. Two negative comments - some of the items in the HO scenes were almost impossible to see, even with a hint, and there was next to no explanation of how to do the mini-puzzles. A little more direction is needed.
My favourite developer gives me another brilliant game. I simply loved it. Good Parts: Excellent. realistic, very well-desiged graphics. Loved the storyline. Intro was like watching a movie. Really liked the Hidden Object Scenes and the challenge they presented. Interactive object were fun, as well as needing to use an item from your inventory. Hint recharged very, very fast. The skip was there almost instantly, no need to even try and attempt the puzzles. Excellent cutscenes. Ecellent soundtrack. OK Parts: Would've liked another hidden object scene or two. Bad Parts: Sometimes it was really hard to figure out what to do next. A lot of going back and forth in the game. Overall, the game is yet another must buy by Elephant Games. Can't wait for the next one!
I played this game on the "Hardcore" setting (no hints, no skipping), and it gave me hours of fun. The puzzles were satisfyingly challenging and very enjoyable, and the scene direction flowed without being too obvious. It had me stumped for a while a couple of times! Occasionally whimsical with the use of objects, but not too obscure. I have played a lot of games of this genre, and would highly recommend this one.
Thoroughly enjoyed this game, really challenged me mind, could not wait to get to the end took quite a while Christmas got in the way,
I really enjoyed playing this game, graphics were really good and story line was great, had me thinking enough for pleasure but not so much that I got disheartened or bored with it.
I have played several HOG, but this one is in a category of it's own. One must think while covering multiple locations. Some of the puzzles lacked clarity on the directions of how to solve, but you can skip it if you want. The graphics and storyline is excellent. This is one that wont be completed in 4 hours, but it will keep you interested. I will play this game often, its a good thing it came with the stategy guide-enjoy!!
I enjoyed this game IMMENSELY because it was VERY interactive (including the hidden object areas -- more on that in a moment) and the HINT system (when I got brain-dead and couldn't figure out where to go or do) WILL provide you with your next place of action AND what inventory item to use when you got there; not only that but you ALWAYS had said inventory item in your "bar of tricks". LOL The one thing that would consistently hold me up was in doing the hidden object scenes; they're ALL interactive and OFTIMES, you've got to use an item FROM YOUR INVENTORY (which I would forget to do) to complete the interactivity and close out the hidden object areas. Be warned, though, you may NOT be able to IMMEDIATELY close out said areas until sometime later in the game play. Some of the puzzles were "beyond these old gray cells" and I had to either skip or use the walkthrough to complete (depending on my mood and/or the complexity of the puzzles -- one of them were cut-out scenes type movie things and it just was "over my head") and a couple of them were like "huh?" and I'd have to check the walkthrough for clarification. One of the puzzles -- though I understood what needed to be done -- STILL was unclear to me (even with the walkthrough) because I didn't understand where the traveling item needed to end up (in the middle of the board, BTW) and so I just followed the walkthrough row-by-row and made the changes and THEN it became clear to me where the traveling item needed to disappear at. Remember, also, to use your cursor and travel the screen high and low and all 4 sides (although not necessary to do it slowly) because you'll never know where you'll be picking up items or having areas wherein you'll need to return. I got tripped up a couple of times because I ended up with inventory items with no idea as to their purposes and got stuck as to where to go and had to click on the hint button for more information. For me, a very enjoyable (non hair-pulling LOL
This game had everything I like. The HOS scenes have little extras: not just items on a list. Great story with real time video. Great inventory puzzles. Puzzles were difficult but skippable. It had 3 different levels of play. I was on the easiest. I like my games casual. Very casual and this one was perfect. Love Elephant Games.
