This game has wonderful artwork, graphics and cut scenes that made me feel as though I was in an Indiana Jones movie. I counted 24 Hidden Object Scenes in the main game and 8 in the bonus chapter. I'm not particularly fond of masses of H0 scenes, but here they were well spaced throughout the game, clearly defined and easy to find; making me actually look forward to playing them rather than finding them a chore to get through. It's a long game too and, imo, the bonus is worth the CE price for once. The puzzles are a bit too easy but, overall, I found this game fun and engrossing. One of my favourites of 2012 so far.
This is one of the BEST games offered. I am so glad that BIG FISH decided to offer it at last. You will NOT be disappointed. Awesome story, super long play (seems like forever) and great graphics. A++++
I really liked the first House of 1000 Doors: Family excellent graphics, many cut scenes the HO scenes are somewhat interactive within themselves fast hint refill music is ok interactive map Morphing objects-bonus game about 3-4 hours for more experience users,
Played 30 minutes, casual - 2 gameplay modes, casual and expert - 8 chapters + bonus play - Integrated strategy guide, which stays on the page you leave - Note book - Map, you can jump from one location to another - H0, you interact, a little dark - Hint button, refills quickly in casual mode, usefull outside H0 - Skip button - Excellent graphics - Very good music - Good story, the House of 1000 doors is back ! I haven't come across mini games in the part I've played. Up to now game easy as you use the objects you find nearly straight away. Beautiful game, a buy for me.
Loved the previous version of this game.Excellent graphics, sounds, challenges and a storyline that continues with Kates adventures with the house of 1000 Doors.Need i say more?...For those who truly enjoyed the previous game definitely would want the CE just to enjoy everything that this game has to offer.But...to those who played the demo and still unsure you can always wait for the SE and still enjoy an excellent game such as this one.I definitely recommend this game.
This is a fantastic game, visually great, story line is also very good. The graphics are also excellent and clear. Trying to spot the morphing objects is a welcome added extra. Game play is great with interesting mini games too. I played the full demo and will certainly be filling my punch card with this one. It held my interest for the full hour, which just sped by. Its a sure buy for me.
I really liked the first House of 1000 Doors: Family Secrets-and was not dissappointed too too much with this sequel. as mentioned before Two levels , excellant graphics, many (too many) cutscenes to push story along the HO scenes are somewhat interactive within themselves (theirselves?) somewhat junkish but really well drawn. *no clicking penalty* fast hint refill on casual does not burn hint for directions (I hate that y'know) music is ok-would have been nice if matched the theme interactive map Morphing objects-bonus game=SG about 3-4 hours for more experience users, 6-8 novice bought it after trial play & looking forward to playing balance of game.
As soon as I saw this release I was pretty sure I was going to buy it, but to make sure I went ahead and checked out the free trial, and I was right, I just bought it before the trial was even over because I wanted to keep playing without interruption! This game is easy to follow but still has the normal challenges to help keep you going throughout the game. Plenty of HO areas and also has the hidden morphing objects you can find and collect. I loved the previous HOG House of 1000 Doors:Family Secrets and this one looks like it is as fun too!!!
This game had me hook line and sinker from trial to my purchasing it. A big 10 thumbs up on this one. The color, visual effects and graphics were excellent. I liked the different scenes and the adventureness of them all. I know I didn't get all the morphons which was saddening to me. I lacked 12 or 13 of them. I guess I wasn't on my toes fast enough. I started the game around 7 am EST this Thursday (4/5) morning and just finished completing it by doing the bonus feature which is worth doing. This game was long doing it. I take my time. Best of all is the feature of being able to save the game where you left off and starting it again where you left off. I highly recommend this game for the young at heart and the adventerous players. I can't wait for more games like this from the develpers. WTG!! Have fun and happy playing everyone.
I really recommend this game, it is such a fun and exciting game, I was waiting for this game to come out, I couldn't wait for Big Fish to have it for purchase. I had the chance to play the Beta test game and I instantly liked it. There is so much to do and I found myself wanting more and more of it. Just like House of 1000 Doors: Family Secrets, the fun goes on and on. I like all the doors that can be entered for all the adventure. House of 1000 Doors: The palm of Zoroaster takes you back to the house that appears and the adventure goes on with many new twist and lots to do. Thank you Big Fish for this game.
