This is a very strange game but worth playing as a break from the adventure clones. It's like a hidden object game designed by someone who had never played one. Some objects you can see clearly and others you can't see at all till you move your cursor over and they pop up. The decorating was fun. If you get frustrated but are a little patient the game will show you where to put the items so you are never stuck. The story was interesting but got bogged down near the end. Sort of a soap opera.
Screen does not convert to full size hard to play on miniture screen.
This was a great leap from the same ole same ole HOGs where u search for the name of an object til u find it. This game gives u three objects at a time to find and they are set in little boxes at the bottom of the screen. If you cannot find the object there is a "?" under the box you can click on and it will show you a picture of the item. Makes it much easier as some of the smaller items are hard to distinguish. I have only played the free trial so far, but I am enjoying it so much I intend to buy it and finish the game. I cannot comment on the end of the story, but so far I find it intriguing and can't wait to see what happens....does she find her missing uncle? Is he dead? Why did he leave clues all over the place? Did he know he was going to leave abruptly...was it planned? So many questions, so few answers to date, lo! Personally I find this a most refreshing type of HOG, wish the objects were a little easier to see, but the unique way in which it is presented is great as far as I am concerned! The added fun of being able to "decorate" this dilapidated old house is also a major plus in my book! I recommend you try the free trial and make your own decisions, but I am buying it now!
