I love mahjong as a genre, but these (both) Liong games are unbeatable for sheer beauty, variety, luxe, enjoyment. I would like a few extra seconds to enjoy viewing backgrounds after a round is completed, rather than having the round close out of sight, simply because the eye candy throughout is so yummy. Not the most difficult levels, BUT I have not played through expert levels yet, so I may have to retract that point. I just hope, pray, wish for more versions of these delightful, stunning Liong mahjong games, I am totally addicted. Thank you, game developers ... you done great!!
Beautiful graphics and soothing music nicely balance the super-challenging timed play. Took some time to master difficult mode, but well worth the effort.
I love Mahjongg games and particularly like it when game developers come up with new twists on the Mahjongg formula, and in this game they did a fantastic job. I ususally play the untimed version of games because I don't like to be rushed, so I was initially worried that I wouldn't be able to keep up with the moving dragon, but I found a "Slow-motion" feature on the options menu that allowed me to keep up with no problems. I love the graphics on this game, too. If you like the color and styling of Oriental art, you will like the visual look of this game. Definitely a winner. I also loved the sequel "Liong: The Lost Amulets" (see my review for that game for details).
Not only is this game beautiful, it is fun. It has a variety of modes. I'd like to see more games from this company.
I play it for relaxation and the great visuals. Wish there were more like it. Also play Liong: The Lost Amulets. I have played a lot of good games on BFG site, including a lot of more advanced games, but this is one of my best buys for durability and a pleasant pastime.
For those who love mahjong this is a good game. Beat the dragon by finishing the Mahjong game first. Not for me. The Liong Amulet game is more my style as it gives a variety of puzzles, not just mahjong. Didn;t enjoy the trial so won't be buying the game.
This (and the other Liong game) are, by far, the best Mahjong games out there. Challenging and beautifully rendered: I find them mesmerizing. I've had both games for years and still play them every few months, getting hooked on the game as soon as I start again. Different than any other Mahjong game out there.
