Great story-grafic-locations and just a game I can recommend
I tried this game out as the demo version. Rather strange animation hits the screen in the first scene and it doesn't get much better. The player has to acquire tasks by questioning (preset questions to click on) characters which are rather static. There is no voice-over with the characters. The compass shows you roughly where to go to get the required objects to present to the characters in order to progress. Then it's simply a case of clicking and HO games then sometimes a puzzle to solve. Herein lies the problem with the game - there is little help in the puzzles to work out what to do especially after you do the first puzzle which is easier. Then come the spelling mistakes - a Falx knife (repeated more than once) should be a flax knife which suddenly it becomes at the arena......This is found in a HO scene, many of which are quite dark making it difficult to see some items. I started to get frustated after the third or fourth puzzle and deleted the game. It's a bit too old and tired to get me to pay for this game.
Very worthwhile game put out by Nat'l Geography. For anyone who enjoys excellent puzzles, history and a little bit of HOS this is the game for you! I am on the 3rd chapter and have experienced several good puzzles and great visuals. The storyline goes without saying as I am sure most have [at least] heard of the fall of Caesar. The scenes are well designed and tell much about that era in Roman history. Hope Nat'l Geo puts out more games such as this in the future.
I honestly didn't like this game. I thought the reviews were over rated, but that's just my opinion. I would not recommend buying it.
great game for the visual and historical interests h.o. were good games and not too easy puzzles had long skips so u had time to really go for them they were not easy with no instructions to be had i really liked this game though with its rougher edge to it, i wont play it again
Put together by Nat Geo games - it gives a good history lesson about Brutus and his flight from Rome after the assassination of Caesar. Graphics nothing special but the story does propel you from place to place. Hidden Object sections are small and the stuff is pretty much sitting there - no challenge. But the puzzles required to further the game echo everything from code breaking to minesweeper (that was my favorite part). Game is very short - catch it on sale if you can. A fun way to spend an hour or two!
