It's so nice to see something other than another HOG. The physics engine is spot on, the graphics are bright and cheerful, and the challenge level increases steadily as you progress. Definitely not recommended for 4 year olds as one reviewer suggested (except for the first few levels). How can you not want to help the puppet get back his head?
I love these types of games. This is the best one I've seen since chromentium(sp?). It's very cartoony, which is ok in this type of game, and I can see the graphics better. Most are so small it's hard to see to where to place things. If some music annoys you, you'll want to turn the volume down on this one. The challange gets exponentialy harder with each game. Plot is simple...puppet thingy wants his head back and you have to get it to him. If you would rather zone out while playing a game, this might not be for you. But if you love to think yourself out of situations, you'll love this one.
I really like a puzzle and this game gives it. There are very few hints so it is all about working out what to do all by yourself. There are no solutions so it is down to you to figure it out. There are no instructions either other than the head must get to its body! However there is a skip option to go to the next puzzle. However to get to the next section you do need to have worked out each level in that section. I really like that once you get past level 10 you are having to work out the correct sequence of actions all to get the quickest time to get all 3 stars. the redo button is very handy!! If you are up for a work out for the brain and like figuring things out for yourself, then this is a game for you. If you are easily frustrated and like a hint button then don't bother.
I love puzzles and this is one. The only problem I see is if I get stuck. No hints or solutions or walkthrough. You can skip, but how many? And I don't like to skip. It's not only setting things up, some levels you have to do things while it's starting through to continue, and timing is critical. But not on all levels. Very fun, even if it will be very hard to complete.
This is quite a cute little game, your aim is to get the head to the body by working out which peices in the puzzle you need to move or expand to make bigger or make smaller, some of the levels are quite challenging, and it can take several attempts to get them right, some of the other games similar to this type of game are way to easy, at least this one is challenging. Would i personally buy it....NO... as this is not the sort of game that interests me, but for those who like this sort of game i'd say its a must buy :-) Do i recommend this game... absolutly if you like this sort of game :)
After playing lost head I kept on going back to a 90's pc game that I had from Sierra called The Incredible Toon Machine that was a lot more fun and more to do. Basically in Lost head you are trying to find the quickest way through obstacles to get your head reattached to your body it's pretty straightforward, there are no hints, it's pretty much trial and error and it gets repetitive real fast, it's ok but I'll stick with my toon machine thanks
Maybe it was my laptop but there was NO WAY to accomplish a lot of the levels of this game!! I'm used to playing physics-style games on my smartphone with no problems, but this game was impossible, frustrating and annoying!! The cartoonish character of Franken-stitch, that you are supposed to return it's head to is OK. but as for story-line, there is none to captivate you. [as in Angry Birds or the like] It's just straight physics with objects to collect as you try to reunite Franken with his head. Again, I have to ask, why would the devs not take a page from other successful physics-style games? Why rush the release before getting it right? I had really high hopes for this game and I'm afraid it was quite a let-down for me. Maybe as a DD it would be more appealing, but as a full price game...I don't think so! As always, please try at least the 1-hr. trial to see if it appeals to you more than to me.
If you like brainiac teasers, then this game is for you. It is interesting in an annoying way, if you can't figure it out. They have a skip button to progress in the level, but no hints or solutions if you can't figure it out. This Einstein will take a pass on the game.
Cartoony fun physics game of getting Frankenstein's head to roll to him, but no options to set a difficulty level or avoid a very unforgiving timer and they won't let you up to the next level until you have gotten at least 2 or maybe 3 stars in each games. (Not sure as to the actual requirements, because there are NO INSTRUCTIONS.) After several tries, I got either two or three (out of 3) stars in each game on level 1, except one which I could not get more than 1 star - even though I thought I played it as fast as possible - and the game would not let me progress to the next level.) There was no way I was ever gonna get past the first level as it was too stressful trying to keep replaying a level til I got it right; you have to be a really fast thinker and even faster on the keyboard. Maybe not having a mouse for my laptop was the handicap there, I don't know. Even though I love physics challenges I will NOT be buying this game. It was fun through the first level but since I could not advance to the next level, I got tired to re-playing level one with no luck.
Absolutely no fun factor in this, just repetative motions. Could not determine the purpose of the game. Might be fun for a 4 to 6 year old.
