Cute detailed graphics and sound effects. It's a game that you can easily win and enjoy at different difficulty levels. It gets a little boring unless you aim for expert at all levels (easily achievable). The bad thing: no scoreboard for tracking winners!
I don't know how I missed this game when it first came out, but I am sure glad I found it today. What a great game. Excellent graphics, cute story, extra cute dragon assistant. I was very taken with this one. If you are a fan of any of the food service tm games then you will love this one. I can see myself playing this again and again, You can set the difficulty of challenge. I love the timed versions, and they are just hard enough after the beginning levels to give you a challenge getting the gold. I totally recommend this game!
This was a humorous little time management game, I loved the commentary from the customers. The game changed enough to keep me interested, and it was hard! Thank goodness for the beginner level or I wouldn't have lasted.
who wouldn't want to work as a pastry chef? and as an added bonus, who wouldn't want to work at the Magic Academy? combine these two ideas together into a time management game and you've got a superb fantasy adventure! you and a baby dragon, dino, are creating luscious confections to tantalize even the most finicky magical palate. Along the way, you learn some fun spells and win trophies. graphics: stylised but absolutely gorgeous, so lovely that you can easily get distracted by looking around instead of playing the game! the graphics invite you in to this absorbing fantasy game. music: not too bad, although nothing too extraordinary. storyline: there's not really much of a storyline here, it's just focused on creating and serving food and drink to your customers. the customers are amusing and quirky, but lovable. gameplay: this game has three modes of play, relaxed, normal and challenge. you are awarded points by how quickly you create and serve pastries and drinks to your customers. at some levels, you need to meet or exceed a certain number of points in order to progress in the game. you can replay a level to gain those necessary points. trophies are awarded for achievements. your assistant, the baby dragon, is not as helpful as one may wish, sometimes eating items that you are trying to add a lemon slice to, for example. the gameplay is smooth with no pauses. my interaction: one hour demo, normal mode. i purchased this game. this is a fun family game with good replay value. it has all the charm of a harry potter film without any evil characters. if you enjoy time management games or magical themes, you?ll love this game!
Great graphics, sound and gameplay.
What a lame TM game!! Everything looks pretty and the little dragon is very cute but the game play is so lame and so dull when you have filled a cookie with chocolate you can't just simply swap it out with a new one, they stick together and both are wasted... well at least your dragon gets fed... and i got fed up!! Waste of time!!
I am not a time management player, as I find the games too repetitious. This one is too, but I was fascinated by the wizard reading his spell book, the invisible king, the chatty wolf, the friendly witch, and other characters. They speak and are beautifully drawn and animated, although I was so busy creating drinks and pastries, that I didn't get a chance to really pay attention to what they were saying or doing. The baby dragon, while cute, is more of a hindrance than a help, but that's the way of baby animals! Half the time the cherries he threw missed the drinks or pastries. Loved the background and the gorgeous arched windows. I felt like I was part of a Harry Potter movie. I would recommend starting on the relaxed level, as it's hard to tell why you get a "pass" on some levels or a gold cup on others. The game walks you through which upgrades to buy in which order. I don't know if that is true later in the game. My best advice: as soon as the level starts, get your pastries baking and pour the drinks so you have a small jump on the customers. The pastries burn fast, but you can stockpile 5 on a plate, so it's better to be baking than not, and it doesn't matter if you have extras when the level ends. This is A LOT of clicking. Not great for carpal tunnel or arthritis, but I'm enjoying the fantasy feel enough that this will be my first TM purchase.
this was a fun game. please no more blood and guts and horror games. we want more family games to play. more tm or hidden object games. please BF get away from those blood thirsty games. enough is enough.
