This game is very fun and addictive! It may be a bit slow at first but it keep adding something new over and over again. It has many cute robots and also a lot of levels. If you're a PvZ fan, you must play this game!
If you want more Plants vs Zombies, this is it. The feel isn't exactly the same when you first start, so you may not realize it if you download the 1-hour trial, but it is very addicting and very fun. Obviously nothing could beat PvZ, but this is a very deep, challenging, and long game, and is a great attempt. The bottom line is that there are tons of levels, robots, enemies, upgrades, mini-games, and enhancements to unlock. The money system is balanced and paced well to keep you going. The programmers really outdid themselves for a first try, and they actually included Chapter 2 in this very game. The "sequel" is a direct continuation with more levels, enhancements, and enemies. Mini Robot Wars is a hidden gem of a game and should be promoted on Page 1 of this site because it could sell like hot cakes since it is a Plants vs Zombies alternative (the only true one I've come across- tower defense games are not like PvZ). The storyline is excellent, some of the stage themes are great, the mini-games are original, and this is not a cheap clone of PvZ- it holds up on its own merits. Some of the robots reminded me of characters from MEGA MAN. So if you like MEGA MAN or Plants vs Zombies, get this game. A few heads up: -The enemies run a lot faster on the rows than PvZ. -You can't generate energy from the sun, so build plenty of generators. - Make sure each row is covered with defense ASAP. - Use weapons that can cross rows. - Beware that energy and money drop quickly and you need to click on them ASAP. - Beware that many minigames and levels require you to click fast and move the mouse- they are more engaging than PvZ.
There are so many different levels and mini games within this game, therefore, you will never run out of fun of it. It took me almost a month to complete the whole story line, and I am addicted to this game. Each character is so fun and it takes strategy to pass certain levels, which can be challenging for younger kids. Hope its sequel will come out soon.
This game is very addicting. You won't want to stop playing it!
OK, I have to admit this game pulled me in, but at first, after doing the trial for about 15 minutes, I thought, "What's the point. This game is overrated." Boy, was I wrong! I decided to keep playing, and after about 25 minutes, I was HOOKED. MRW is truly the next best thing to Plants vs. Zombies. It's mega fun, challenging, and very cute. As the game progresses, the challenges get more and more difficult. I agree with the poster that said a lot of strategy is needed. Whew, that's the truth. In fact, I'm going to visit the forum to get some tips. Even though I'm not finished playing, I highly recommend this game to those who loved PvZ, and how want a game that keeps them on their toes and energized!
I liked upgrades. Didn't like the continual waves of enemies. Makes you get on your toes and stay there. It hurts after a while.
My daughter was obsessed with this game. We had a lot of fun playing it together. It was very challenging at times for me, but enjoyed figuring out the strategy and getting all the acheivements. There were a lot more levels than I anticipated. After I finished the "game", a new level was unlocked. And when I finished that, there was another. Loved that we couid play for days.
fantastic! I love it! my favorite!
just finished game after 15 hours plus excellent value!!!!
I absolutely love this game! My only problem is I can't seem to get past level 4-10, the mission stage. I never can get past killing 97 enemies. I would love some feedback on how to get past this stage.
