This is basically a huge version of mine sweeper, but so much better. When you begin, there is a choice of five languages. I don't speak five, but I think it's cool. I suggest you DO read the stuff to read. Some of it is important task wise & some of it is just the story. The story is pretty cute & really not long to read. If you choose to not read the stuff that pops up....you won't have a clue what the sometimes hilarious power-ups are.
I really wanted to love this game and I did love the demo. But I've come across two problems that keep me from wanting to continue on and finish it. The first is that you can't pause or save your progress within a level. So, say you've found 62 out of 80 moles but you need to take a break? Your only option is to leave the game running in the background while you do other things. Extremely inconvenient. The second is that there seem to some bugs in the game still, most seriously that on a couple of occasions I've gotten to the end of a level, having found all the moles it seems possible to find, but it's still telling me I have one mole left. I've had this happen twice now and gone back all over the yard trying to see if I'd missed something - nothing. My only option was to start the level over again. Combine this with the other issue I described and you have a very frustrating experience. It's too bad. I really love the concept of this game but some issues need to be worked out before it's a good game imo.
