Not all of us want to crash outside a haunted house...

... in the middle of winter, while third rate actors overplay platitudes and we run around to find the zillionth key in our lives. I cannot really understand how "key contributors" can give 1 star to a game which is: a) original b) a feast for Hidden Object afficionados If you don't like Hidden Object scenes, try not to review this highly addictive game, it's like trying to bash a Prius because it cannot accelerate like a Ferrari. If you like Hidden Object scenes, this is a game worth getting.

Actually quite fun and different

I think the reviews are FAR too harsh for this game. It's a NICE change of pace from standard HOGs, and MANY of the numbers are VERY cleverly hidden, so it's a real challenge. So you're looking for numbers instead of teddy bears, coins and keys. It does have a simple premise, but it's fun. Perfect for my elderly Mom who loves it, and I do as well. The graphics are superb, and the scenes very nice. I feel it's undeserving of such negative reviews. Not every game has to be GHOULS IN THE OLD HOUSE.

Not flash, just fun!

I am assuming that the reviewers of this game have never played BF online games. The "z" games are some of the most popular and this is one of them! This is the first PC game they have released to my knowledge...thanks much and look forward to more.

Don't always believe reviews??

Mysteriez is one of the best HO games I have done in a long time. I am not always interested in going in and out of rooms, finding clues and taking time from my very busy day. It is very fun and challenging. I wish I could find more like them. You may love to work through strategies and mazes but I don't. I love this game. I wish it was longer and/or had more levels. Incidentally, why is it that you cannot find other games by the same vendor? That would be a good thing! Pat

Fun game

I tried it out 1st because of all the negative responses. I am a bit over the dark and depressing storylines of HOG games as well as having to find some piece of equipment to open something before you can do something else. Enjoying just looking for the numbers which are a bit tricky to find at times but a nice and bright challenge.

GREAT GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GREAT GAME!!! LOTS OF FUN!!!!I LOVED IT AND I AM BUYING IT

Challenging Number-Seek Game!

Had fun playing demo. Not the most terrible game I've ever played. With all the eye-candy games out there, this one is original and more like the old-time games. Challenging to find numbers 1 through 40 and numbers are sometimes backward, upside down and blended into background. Many numbers are in clear view as well. Game is timed so you have to jump right on finding the numbers. No hints. If you click on a previously found number, there is no penalty, however, if you click elsewhere, a -10 second off your short timer is deducted which is good too if you want to end that scene more quickly. At the end of timer, bursts of light show where numbers are hidden that you could not find. Even then, I couldn't see some of them still--lol. If you are competitive and always looking for new ways to challenge yourself, at least try the demo. The game is difficult as we have grown accustomed to being handed answers through hints and walkthroughs. None of that here. Enjoy! -Mama Mia-

An old Victorian game brought up to speed

You'll read a lot of negative reviews for this game-I am not one of them. This is not a mindless, time passing game, it's not a "follow the bouncing ball" game, nor is it a mini interactive movie game. It's really a mental exercise, but it's still fun. Each level has numbers that are very obvious, and some that are more obscure and almost impossible to find. It's almost like a jigsaw puzzle. Some pieces are easy to place, some you don't know how they fit until they're the only ones left. This game is not for everyone, there is no story-each level is it's own puzzle. If you like Sudoku, jigsaws, crossword puzzles, stitching, and like hobbies, this is for you. TRY this game, if it's not for you, you'll know. If it is your cup of tea, you'll really enjoy it.

I'm going against the general rating of this game to say I really enjoy it. First, I love numbers. Second the graphics are very clear and the numbers are cleverly placed making it a real challenge. I've played four rounds and have not found all the numbers in any round. Close just leaving one number is my best so far. Plus there are many levels to play so I see a long time playing factor, as well as replay value if you want to get 100%, or just better your previous score. This is a definite buy for me which just goes to show one person's junk is another person's treasure. Give it a go before you pass on it based on the reviews.

Mysteriez

If you are looking for the run of the mill HOG then this is not for you. This game is unique and without a story line. The challenges are quite different from other HOG's. 5 levels in 7 sections of nothing but numbers. The challenge is that the numbers are part of the landscape, buildings, pedestal bases, shadows, designs and even in things like ladders. They are not all just numbers either. Two bowls together can be an 8. A swirly design can be something like a 26. The number One is especially difficult to find. They can also be Roman Numerals, what looks like a sand pile at first glance or ropes that appear to just be laying around. You can move on when the time runs out whether or not all the numbers are found. Each section is a different difficulty level. There is no penalty for clicking a number more than once. There is a 10 sec. penalty for clicking on other than a number making random clicking out of the question. A level can not be instantly restarted after it is completed, only after the entire section is finished, so unless you have a photographic memory each level is always a challenge. The music may be annoying to those who don't like jazz but it can be turned down or off. By clicking on a number it will disappear from the list but not from the picture which, again, makes finding the remaining numbers challenging. Quickly click on all the obvious ones first. Then there will be time to find the truly hidden numbers. Think outside the box as this is not a game of just looking for tiny objects of something around a piled up scene. Finally, in defense of this game, it is much more challenging, and fun, than the BigFishGames online version. It can be relaxing and just plain fun, or it can be frustrating if you have to find everything the first time through. Try it out and see for yourself. I like that playing it over and over I come up with different results making it a game that isn't once to played and then go on to another one.
