Yes, it is a strictly hidden object game and, therefore, objects are hidden. In fact, some are hidden in plain sight. A few are small, like the bullet casings, but they were out in the open. The hint button is slower to recharge than other hidden object games, but I used it only once or twice per scene, so it wasn't an issue for me. There is no penalty for mis-clicks, so if you think you see something click on it. No harm, no foul. The graphics are bright and clear, except if it is a night scene where the graphics are a little darker to, you know, simulate night. Some of the puzzles are challenging, but they can be skipped immediately without waiting for a skip button to fill. If you like a strictly hidden object game without bouncing around and having to consult a walkthrough, at least give this one a try. I have not finished it yet, so I don't know how long it is. But I wanted to counteract the poor reviews this game has been given.
I played this one when it first out and I never leave a review before. For this I give 5 stars because I have fun 'til the end and good storyline. There's a lot HO so if you are like this kind genre or if you looking a game for spending your lazy time then try this one. Thanks dev!
I agree with a previous review that this game is a great one and do not be discouraged from negative reviews. It is basic, yes. Objects can be small - yes. No voice overs, so what. It is much like the Agatha Christie games but without the seemingly endless dialog. Sometimes, you just need a break from running all throughout a game seeking out an object or clue. This game does just that - gives you a break. The "kiss" theory here - keep it simple, silly. You can always immerse yourself in tougher games after a simple HO game!
A good classic sek and find game, with a good plot
I'm with most of the other reviewers here: This game is nothing but an endless series of HOS and puzzles that are often more frustrating / annoying than fun. The plot -- such as it is -- is idiotic and has next to no relation to any of the puzzles, etc. The cut scenes are static and pretty abysmal. Very few of the "clues" or other items help you actually solve any of the puzzles, so it all begins to seem just like a parade of puzzles married to nothing. To be fair, the actual puzzle play can be fun and often quite challenging. But even here, the HOS scenes are unusually difficult -- items are super hard to find and the hint function is terribly slow. I found myself skipping puzzles just because I was so annoyed with their obtuseness. BTW, there is no BigFish walkthrough, either -- you have to rely on an old forum for text clues. Bottom line: Put your hard-earned $$ somewhere else!
The hidden objects are quite difficult to find and the hint button recharges slowly. The puzzles are difficult but I enjoy them like that.
If you like hidden objects games with a bit of a challenge, then this game is for you. You can play on either Relaxed or Timed modes. I played on Timed mode and had no trouble eventually finding all the HOS and playing the mini-games before time ran out. The HOS were quite challenging in some scenes because some objects were very small and hard to see - like the bullet holes and casings. I actually had to close the curtains here because, with the sun shining, I just couldn't see anything, especially the small items and it was night time in the game. The mini-games and puzzles were very easy and didn't take long to do at all. The graphics are okay. Some scenes were quite dark, especially at night, and it was a little hard to see some items. However, I like a challenge and I did find them all without hinting (although I was cursing a bit!). The music was fine - played quietly in the background and I didn't need to turn it down to concentrate. There was no penalty for mis-clicking, thank goodness. I think the game took me about 4 hours to play all up. So overall, I did quite enjoy the game. There was just enough challenge to keep me interested. Definitely recommended for an afternoon on a rainy day.
The game was okay. The graphics were a little dark and the story was a little weak. It was the deal of the day, I'd happily say, I got what I paid for..... =^..^=
This HOG was just OK. HO were dark and sometimes very hard to find. Hints recharged fast so that was good. This game is good as a Daily Deal.
This game is purely HOS and puzzles. Puzzles were good but I did not have the patience because the HOS scenes were so difficult, I just skipped the puzzles to get through the game. The hint charger was very slow and the objects were miniscule. I had to get my magnifier to help me to see objects. Not enjoyable.
