I was nearly put off by the bad reviews but thought I would try it, and I really liked it. The first few levels were very easy but the more the game went on the harder it got, and a few times I had to start the level again as I could not find a move. The jigsaw style mini-game is good too as that breaks up the match three monotony that you can get with some of these games. The pieces slide nice and quick, and the bonus' are plentiful. There are no bells or whistles and no immense storyline like a lot of the newer games these days, but still a good match three with some challenging game-play.

I really enjoyed playing this one. I liked the graphics and I especially liked the music playing in the background. It kept me motivated to win. I thought the little icons were fun - meat? eggplant? Fun game.

This game is fun for a lazy afternoon It kind of has a kid feel to it but give it a try it is harder than it looks! Surprisingly I liked the game and had to give levels a few trys. To me this was kind of challenging and to me that is why I play a game to try and beat it. lol

Each level has an objective and gives fun.

Well I have to admit that I'm not a connoisseur of the M3 genre as so many of you are, but I do like it as a diversion from the usual adventure/hidden object games that I normally play. So I guess my expectations weren't too high as I sort of liked this game. I made the size bigger so I didn't find the objects too tiny like some did and I thought the sounds and music were cute. I'm a sucker for animals too so I think my opinion may be skewed because of that, but it looked like every other M3 game I've played before, so I really don't have many bad things to say about this game other than the fact that I didn't learn to cook like the promise made in the description. lol Seriously though, from reading the negative reviews here, I see that much more was expected in the gameplay, especially in the story part. I respect that and agree then that those real fans of the genre got shafted with this one as I've learned that there are so many better developed games than this one, and those that expected more got far less. I therefore belong to the beginner crowd where this game is concerned because I enjoyed the demo well enough to try it but don't like it enough to buy. It was fun to play for an hour though and for those who may prefer a much simpler, bare-bones form of M3, I will recommend Panda Gourmet. Cheers!

Lasted 4mins. just too childish. Maybe a young child may like it but no, not for me.

This is one of the first Match 3 that I really disliked. It asked u to get certain objects to finish a level but those objects are few and far between during the level. Also when you "explode" or use the specials they do not get rid of objects required to finish the level.

I could have found a better way to spend an hour of gaming, because Panda Gourmet was not worth the time I put into it. It is the typical Match 3 game, you have to match food items on a grid to fill Panda's order, and even though eventually you get tools to help you, the sounds that come from the game when you use them has to be among the world's top ten most annoying noises. Panda Gourmet, really stupid what more can I say? I guess I can say more... stay away from this game. There are far better match 3 games out there, from the Seven Wonders series, and Jungo, and the one game that will keep you up all night, The Heroes of Kalevela. If you need a match 3 fix, then go get one of these, and leave Panda Gourmet behind. As kawaii as that annoying panda might be, he's not worth your time. Now, go get your game, and don't even bother with Panda Gourmet. It's just that lame!
