This game is similar to Life Quest etc. but it's grittier and a bit more "real" in some ways because it gets at the emotional effects of life struggles. As with the other games, you need to get a job, get a place to live, feed yourself, so to school, buy stuff etc. This game places a lot more emphasis on how you FEEL - are you happy or sad? Are you tired or energetic? Sadness and exhaustion build on themselves - if you're exhausted, you sleep late and have less time the next day to accomplish things, which makes you more tired. There are more opportunities for fun in this game than in some others. You can visit a museum, a water park, a circus. I also liked that you can save your money in the bank and earn interest. The graphics are poor and depressing, frankly. But that adds to the vibe of the game.
This game was far more interesting then I thought it would be when I first downloaded it. For me at any rate, it became addictive to see what I could get accomplished next. Each level offered its own challenges, but gave you time to make them. After the first time I played it through I was actually disappointed, thinking: "This is it, I'm done. But I didn't get to buy everything I wanted." That is when I played it through creating a second character and actually added my own twist to the game, that of seeing how much I could get done in one level that would be used/needed in the next. The nice part about this game is that it isn't over challenging for the first time players. But for the advanced Big Fish Gamer; having bought over 65 games and played countless others; there was enough to keep my interest and come back and play it through more then once. The only draw back I have to the game, is that I couldn't go back once it was finished/won and replay it with the same character or even go back and replay levels as I was playing to try and win that level. Regardless, I will create new characters and replay it in the future.
a cool game for smart kids . at first will be a little boring because you don't have money and you must work all day but the game will be super cool when you will start to have money in pocket :):):)
It was fun I was bored and played it.. it was fun thinking about getting the full version.
in 2 hours the game is finish with all stars, so it could be good in portable system so if you're waiting somewhere, play this until it's time to stop fast and don't care if have to restart it's easy and fast to get what you did just faster the more you play, life quest do seems the same, but path to success is older than life quest so it's kind of normal that graphic poor and else. I would say if first time you try that kind of game, path to success is good for beginner, but if you're addict to hard game, good luck to find one.
I have played this game over 20 times and I have only just started getting bored. I am definatly keeping my eyes peeled for more games like this one.
I find that this game to be very appealing overall. I have enjoyed playing this game. The graphics of it has been excellent.
I don't know which game came out first this game or Life Quest but they are basically the same game. I do like both. Path to Success has got a great variety of task to keep a person busy. I also like this game because it can be played over and over trying to improve your score. The task get harder at a good pace so you won't get over whelmed.
It is a good strategy game - some timed elements - and that is part of the fun - not overwhelming - and what the heck! you get a second chance if you don't meet the time limit. buying clothes, houses , cars new jobs and don't forget to eat or you are penalized! Try it out for sure to see if it suits you warning it can be addictive - and the first time thru can be a bit of a drag - but you will be back for more. 5 Stars.
LOVE this game...play it at least once a week! There are definite strategies to making the money you need just to meet your needs...but once you find your "path", the money will be rolling in! Love the extras in this game, do wish they had dating/marriage/child(ren) as part of the choices. BFG, tell the game designers it IS possible to have both a career AND family! LOADS of fun!
