It was excellent! I mean excellent! I couldn't get away from it!
I tried the hour trial Ok I couldn?t understand what I was doing at first; but when I got into the game it was ?Brill? even though I'm a Woman and not a guy I never used a caterpillar in my life; even though U have a few retries shaped as a Dolphin. I found it more help when it wasn?t there, yea I would recommend this game go on and buy this game if U like some excitement in Ur life; ?keep thinking and keep the mind goin? U will have to be quick thinking and remember the shapes WOW Ria Recommend This Game? Yes;Yes;Yes;Yes;Yes;Yes;Yes; Guess What
I enjoyed shooting my pengus through the air and knocking down the bad fishes.
It really was a fun game and all but it could of been better I hate that eveytime you'd lose the game you'd have to start all over fom the begining but other that that it was fun
There is no story, hardly any instructions and no fun. You have to shoot pengus from a catapult to knock over the fishies. Apart from a first glance at the fishies before it scrolls you over to your catapult you can't see them when you're actually trying to line up the catapult so the first shot is blind but gives a sort of guide to your next shot. If you like 'Angry Birds' you'll like this.... personally, I hate it!
What an awful game (basically skittles with pengus). Storyline is that you shoot pengus out of a catapult to vanquish the fish beasties - really. Graphics are basic cartoon type. You have no visibility of the "beasties" you are shooting at so you have to wing it. I played thirty levels (yes I persisted hoping it would get better) of basically the same thing with only slightly different "skittle" configurations. A boring awful game.
Really?? This game is offered to us during the time that "Angry Birds" is on every phone?? I really tried to like this game - I thought it would be great to have a faux "Angry Birds" type game to add to my repertoire of BF games. FAIL!! You have no control of the screen to zoom in or out so that you can see what you're aiming at!! Yes, at the beginning of each level the game shows you the target and then pans over to the slingshot so you can "aim" your Pengus at the target - or where you imagine the target to be, as there's no way to pan back to gauge whether you are even close or to zoom out to visualize the scene! Then, if you fail to hit all the targets, the game lets you "surrender" - as if there's anything else you can do since there are no other options - and once you surrender, ALL the levels you've completed are erased and you must literally begin the entire game from scratch! Really??? Why can't you just replay the same level? I'm sorry....I'm one of the most optimistic of players but I didn't even last through the demo!! This hardly ever happens as I usually keep giving the game devs a chance to convince me they aren't as bad as the game evidence keeps implying!! But not with Pengu - please do try it out for yourselves, at least try the demo, as I firmly believe that one person's opinion shouldn't sway your decision...we're all different! But as for me, even as a DD or WD - it's just not up to snuff - sorry.
I'm in my late 50's, married, full time housewife, the mother of 17 children and have 15 grandchildren with 2 more on the way later this year. I play computer games at night to relax after spending a hectic day cleaning our large home, cooking and baking, yard work, grocery shopping, running errands, and much more. To me, Penguin Wars is just an "Angry Birds" wannabe, in other words, this game is trying to take after the game "Angry Birds" but lacks the cast of characters and the level of difficulty of the game "Angry Birds" so for me, this game is very boring and monotonous. In Penguin Wars I got through to Level 26 without any difficulty whatsoever then my one hour trial ran out which, for me, is really saying something. (I start to run into difficulty in about level 10 of "Angry Birds.") For me, Penguin Wars is not worth wasting my time playing and is absolutely positively not worth me wasting my money to buy. Here is my recommendation for everyone who is reading this review: try playing the free one hour trial of this game while keeping an open mind then decide for yourself if you like Penguin Wars or not.
