I enjoy SOME of the puzzles in this game (especially all the word ones which vary in play-out rules). After I went through about fifteen levels, I moved from general "Challenge" play to "Practice" play which enabled me to focus on just the puzzles that I enjoyed most. There, you are able to choose from three levels of difficulty and the hardest one is not a cinch in my opinion. However, SOME Big Fish fans seem to be geniuses so maybe the puzzles are simple to them, idk. Anyway, I do like this game but would only enjoy it for somewhat small periods of time, then have fun with it on other occasions later. The roller-coaster ride at the beginning has cool graphics and the puzzles are colourful with excellent directions. (You can click the language you want at onset of gameplay...there are appx. half a dozen choices.) The music was jazzy-okay but BE FOREWARNED: the sound is extremely loud right away and it takes a while before you can adjust settings so turn down your computer volume BEFORE you load this game. (I was fine with sound level #10 out of a possible 100)
Well I suck at math, but I rule on visual, and memory and I have room for improvement on word and right-left hand! You have to give this game a chance because the first few levels are basic and easy so you understand what to do as the game progresses and becomes harder and you have to click faster. The memory part consists of a maze in the form of lit blocks on a path to the mouses cheese and when the blocks darken you have to recreate the path or recreate which blocks the mice were on. The word section consists of a word you are shown and you find that word in a honeycomb, or you choose which word is correctly spelled as several words bounce around or respell a word backward. There are so many more challenges and you should at least download the demo and test your brain today, you might be suprised!
This game is unique, has many options for game types and created for all age levels. Visually, everything is large and attractive in colors. Lots of movement but slow enough so as not to upset those who could visually get off balance. Game starts off w/host on roller coaster ride into the infinity, wherein, we play the games. User can opt to play in 5 different languages and can choose different skill levels. Game options include visual, numerical, memory, word, altered images, see saw, left or right, or word confetti. Nice selection. User can opt to play in the challenge mode, or practice mode. There is a progress tracker for those who are so inclined to improve on their skill/speed. The game is set up w/achievement levels and daily tracker but I don't see how the user could be happy to play just a days worth and wait until tomorrow... once started you want to keep exploring and challenging. If you're inclinded to replay, you would do that in the pactice mode as challenge mode changes up w/each game. For me, the negative was definitely the background music but I suppose the younger generation would find that the music fits the challenge. No voice overs, just instructions (in large print format) prior to beginning each level.
Extremely Elementary.......and they will enjoy !
The loading game plays music so loud, my ears bled before I could mute my computer. There is also no way to turn the music down during the game. Is this necessary to the game? Not at all.
