The original Royal Envoy was one of the few TM Collector's Editions I bought. It was very much worth it as there were as many as 30 additional levels to it. Royal Envoy 2 stays true to that successful action. There are 63 levels with the optional challenge to get 3 stars in each, which, if met, will unlock these same levels in "expert" mode for a total of 126 challenges! And you get the 30 additional levels as part of the CE offering. The animations, the story, the music, the sound and the game mechanics kept enough similarity to the original Royal Envoy so as to keep familiarity, with a few changes to justify the "2" as in Royal Envoy 2. Play the demo to see for yourself. I also loved the many achievements. Some of them may even require that you play a level, not to get 3 stars but to get the achievement! So the replayability factor of this game is very very high. There is no walkthrough providing a solution to each level but for each level before you start it and after you end it there are short statements. They may include hints on how to approach solving the level, if you cannot figure it out by yourself. As a veteran of TM games of this kind, I found the challenge level just right, not too difficult, not too easy. By keeping your mind fluid to alternatives a solution can always be found. But play the demo and see for yourself. As a final note, I want to point that I feel that this is how good games should be: Even after the one hour demo, there are many hours of play afterwards, for those who decide to buy it.
I enjoyed this game. A lot of people say that they don't like this game as well as the first. I enjoyed the first one immensely and I enjoyed this one just as much. The game's concept is basically the same, just a few differences. I preferred the tax collectors rather than collecting the money myself, but that's just me. I will definitely be buying this one as a SE as I don't buy any CE games. The extras aren't worth the money to me.
I know everyone have been wait for this game! so I'm too :) This game have many improvements, new characters, new buildings, new quests, and MORE ! the graphic great, good voice over, the gameplay has change -like , there are no tax collector ,so we have to pickup the money ,food, wood! P/S - Try it first, Then U will know :)
I knew I had to buy this game as soon as I saw the sequel. I loved the first one, this is different. I love the changes. Wonderful graphics as before. The game keeps the characters you remember and love. The game changes are subtle and interesting. This is worth the collectors addition. Quad A+
Enough variety and grab to keep you moving on. On first inspection it looks like a long game - and it is. So very good value for money. Becomes more challenging in later levels. Experienced time mgt fans will find it slow to begin with and somewhat predictable, so that it's more of a 'dash' than a strategy game. However later levels reverse this trend. Personally, I've very much enjoyed this game.
This is extremely fun and challenging! I miss the old way of upgrading houses but overall the changes are excellent. The graphics are very good. This will challenge you for hours! I highly recommend this to anyone.
Finally a game that i wanted to buy straight away! Its brilliant, the graphics are really good too. Just the game i was looking for!
A fantastic game. My only complaints are about the smoke and fog levels. I am not a hard core gamer and they were very difficult for me to complete even with the built in walk thru.
Of the many collector's editions, this is only the 2nd one that I've ever purchased. The 1st one being the first Royal Envoy. While the game play is similar to the first one, there are enough new things to keep you in the game. I've played through level 27, and I had to make myself stop and go to bed. This game is very addictive. It a fast game so get your fingers in shape for the quick clicking needed to get the 3-stars. This is one of the differences in this one and the first. They have made it a very quick and challenging game. I purchased this game without even checking it out. You will not be disappointed. Love it! Waiting for number 3.
Fell in love with the first one and had been hanging for the second one. This game did not disappoint like so many do. From start to finish you're hooked! Get through all the levels to unlock the bonus games. If you get all the levels done with 3 gold stars you unlock the expert levels - go jump in the whirlpool and have some fun. Earlier gliches were fixed and the game runs well. Better I feel than the first one - I went back to the first game afterwards and got a bit frustrated. Great game at a fantastic price for hours of fun and entertainment.
