This is a fun TM game. It has a relaxed and Timed mode. I prefer the relaxed. Also, you buy things to make improvements which is something I like doing instead of just running around and clearing rocks, cutting wood etc. Graphics are good, not a lot of talking and moves right along.
I usually play H0 games but got hooked on these TM games. This one is especially a great game! Can choose to play relaxed mode and still get 3 stars to buy things to repair the town. The graphics are so imaginative and beautiful! I love spotting surprises in the scenes, like cute little animals. We also can click ahead of time to complete tasks. Please BF, more games like this!
I love these builder type games, and this one has a quirky mix of building, strategy and opens with a fun hidden object puzzle. I've bought it although I've only played for an hour. There are two modes - I started off thinking by about level 3 it was pretty tough and then realised I was playing in advanced mode. You can switch modes mid game which is great. I try each level in advanced, then restart if I don't make the gold star level. BUT you can switch modes and do the level in untimed mode and still make the gold star if it's too tough. The graphics and characters are cartoonish and nice - it's bright colourful and cheery. I wasn't sure about the gun being brandished at the wolf/dog but turns out it's only to scare it so it runs away and clears the path so that's all cool! With your stars you can also landscape and decorate the town. Great for both modes of play, all levels of ability and all ages -- you can make it as easy or challenging as you want, so far the storyline is nice as you build the town. I think the characters will develop more as time goes on but they are not intrusive and the game gets straight to the point. I can definitely recommend this one! Not looking good for getting my bookwork or housework done today.. (it's winter down here in NZ..!).
I really enjoyed this game. I wasn't sure when I first started how much I would like this one. It doesn't have a lot of the bells and whistles graphically, that have been appearing in a lot of the new games, but it does not detract from the game at all. It has both timed and relaxed modes, which I know will make a lot of the relaxer's happy. Lots of levels, it can take some time if you are gold crazy like me and want all gold stars. Took me a full day, but finally have them all. I do wish they had put in achievements during the game, but hopefully they will add it when they make the sequel. Nice to see a bunch of TM games this past couple of weeks. I hope that continues for a long time!
Absolutely LOVED this game. Its a TM with a twist. Made it through a few levels so far and really enjoyed playing this one. The graphics, sound, everything is worth playing the trial as I did an then decided to add this one to my collection of TM games. The levels are challenging the rewards are fantastic, the game is absolutely fun and enjoyable!
Fantastic TM game, this game is quite hard to achieve the levels in gold, there is a lot of strategy to playing it, you really have to plan ahead and think about what you are using your resources for. Brilliant story line, i loved this game from beginning to end and bought this game after only 20 mins of play. at the beginning of the game there is a very odd start where you are at a train station and have to sort of other people luggage, but once you have done that the game opens up to a TM game, where you are to play levels, collect resources, help people, construct building, each building has a limited amount of resource, once that has been used up, the building shuts down and is no longer in play. later in the game you can upgrade some of your buildings to allow 2 workers to mine there. very challenging, but an awesome game, and lots of fun. A big thumbs up to the developers I highly recommend this game
I haven't liked a game this much in quite a while. As we all know the TM games are far and few between. And recently haven't been that great. But this on was very good.
When I learned that this game was from one of my favorite developers, Rainbow Games, I just had to try it. And I'm sure glad I did! It's visually beautiful, hilarious, and versatile. One can play it either timed or relaxed. It's also highly replayable, making it of even more value for the money. I played through it in "relaxed" mode, and I made up challenges for myself, seeing how I can catch the fewest fish, cut down the fewest trees (they grow back!), etc. I definitely recommend this game to anyone who would like a fun, relaxing, and enjoyable time.
I beta tested this game and loved it. I could not wait for it to come out. The object of the game is to collect things and restore a town. There area few levels you must pay attention on. If you don't you will have to start over and change your strategy. You earn stars to buy upgrades to the town. You will battle bandits and wild life. Hope you have fun. I know I am.
I loved how cute the little workers were and loved the storyline. I wish it had been longer but that's only because I didn't want to stop playing. It has a ton of levels.
