Exciting Hidden Object Game

I found the game has a good storyline. The graphics are excellent and it keeps your interest! The Hidden Object Scenes are fairly easy to play but you won't get bored with this one! The level of challenge is excellent!

fun even if you're tone deaf

I just finished the demo & I'm downloading the game. The hour went by really quick. The main thing I like about the game is that it has a logical sequence. You see that you need a wrench & then you quickly find a wrench.

Great game. Keeps you engaged

This is a good buy for a weekend game. Good hidden object scenes, good storyline, not too much back and forth between scenes. Hints are useful. Really good HO game.

Great post-WWII game! incredible atmosphere!

It's about the end of 1945 somewhere in France. The weather is cold and rainy. People are slowly starting to return from the warfront. The whole village is shattered to pieces, hardly any lights are burning, a broken tank is left behind in the street.... A lonely piano is tingeling along a spinechilling version of "silent nights". Can you feel the atmosphere? It's dark and gloomy, and I loved it!! If you find the game too dark, you can add extra brightness in the options. This is a very long game, I guess I played about 7 hours in total. It's absolutely great. Graphics are cristalclear, cutscenes are done in a great way, almost like a movie! The voiceovers are perfect, real and not overacted for the circumstances you are in #maybe your sister isn't the best, but luckily she doesn't talk much#. Loads of HOS, puzzles and minigames, all really good, challenging but not impossible, with extra hints in the puzzles if the explanation isn't clear enough. The HOS are junkpiles, but very clearly drawn and items not to small, just hidden cleverly. There is very little handholding, no map, no diary, just the hint-button, which is directional and was enough for me if I needed a hint in the right direction. Very nice, this game makes you think! Absolutely love that!! Some to and fro, but it all feels very natural and is intuitive, you don't get lost in some kind of maze. I savoured every minute of this game, and hope we will see more games from this dev! Kudos to them for making this wonderful game! Thanks BF for bringing it to us. Have fun all!

Loved it

I first purchased it as a demo but then I decided to buy it. The hidden objects were not hard and the story line is good. I would recommend trying this game.

Nice game

The graphics are slightly foggy but HOS are good, the puzzles are interesting, the length is adequate and even though there are different chapters there is a good amount of backtracking. The only complaint are the sparkles for the HOS even in advanced mode.

Post World War II France Storyline and Artwork-Superb!!

An older fashioned, rather busy Hidden Object Adventure Game and minimum hand holding. Don't let the slow piano tempo fool you. Lengthy, interesting and peppered with a generous amount of HO scenes, puzzles, unique mini-games. Fairly complicated in terms of a steady amount of objects to find and use but stay with this one BF Gamers. Like jumping into a suspenseful, interactive book. A must-have for Collectors. Enjoy! -Mama Mia-

Silent nights: the Pianist

I somewhat enjoyed the game. I gave it five stars because the game really did get you involved in the story its just the story wasn't 'exciting', to me. It takes place in the 1940s, Europe. The graphics were beautiful and very stunning! I enjoyed all of them! The music was gorgeous and I loved most of the voice overs, except the sister Yvette. Her voice was horrid, like nails on a chalkboard :( There is A LOT of back and forth, with no map to 'fast travel' to a location. I enjoy that sort of play so it didn't bother me at all. The hint button really wasn't a whole lot of help and I had to use the walkthrough quite a few times. It took me around 4 - 5 hours to play this game and I did have to skip a puzzle or two because the tediousness of it. Some were easy and actually mega fun while others were just more wearing thin on my patience. I recommend this game, absolutely, but suggest you play the demo first to make sure it is your type of game. The one thing I really disliked was the menu, hint and inventory bar were at the TOP of the game not the bottom. Now the HOSs were very nicely done and it was a challenge but not so hard you just gave the heck up! i got a little mad with myself when I was struggling to find that last item, to hit hint and guess what? Its right in front of my face!

The Pianist is a Geat Mystery Game.

This is a game that keeps you coming back for more. Very good storie line.this came out in CE first but i waited for the Standerd one as they where knot mutch diffrence in both of the games also i like a challance when i play my games some times you get to mutch help.there still a bit of black screen between scences but its fine.i would Recommed this game at this price to very one.

THOROUGHLY ENJOYED IT

I have just finished playing and found this to be a logically sequenced game but not so that you didn't have to think. As one reviewer said, if you needed an item, it didn't take forever to find and then have to remember where you you needed it. The story flowed and made sense - I got the feeling that it is set just after WWII? but that added to rather than detracted from the game. Well done BF for another great game. Highly recommended.
