You're in Tinseltown. Your job is to complete a movie that is not only a box office success, but critically acclaimed as well. In fact, your job depends on it! It's a match three puzzle. The layouts are eye-candy, lots of fun and have many power-ups and special features that come to life when you match in chains. Without giving away the surprises, the power ups are very clever and unlike any other I've seen in the many match 3 games I've played. When you finish your match three puzzle, your score is added, and that is your budget for the coming week. Now you take over the role as the Producer of the film. You have to decide how to spend your money. Better props? More experienced people? Cheap sets? As you progress, you can click a button and see the movie play as it is - raw footage I guess. This can help you decide what needs work - and money. Each time as you add more staff and sets, etc. You play it to see the progress you are making. I got through the first movie in my free hour. The next one coming up was of a different genre. It would make sense that switching from one genre to another, at the other end of the spectrum would bring a whole new set of Producing problems to solve. The retro art is gorgeous. Anyone interested in retro or more specifically, the fifties would find this game enjoyable. The artist/s involved in this project are very talented. Also anyone who loves match 3 puzzles should try this one, just for its special power-ups. By the way, my movie ended up being a smashing success, winning awards and garnering a four-star rating. Not bad for a first-time Producer. :-) It is a nice diversion.
A very fun M3 wherein you design your own sets for a Broadway producer who is virtually bankrupt and you pick your set scenes, actors, etc. by the cash make in the M3. The only glitch I would say is there are no overall instructions as to what certain features are that show up in the M3 game and even I couldn't figure them all out. But, the FT is for you to try so give it a whirl. Glam-ma says go for it.
