Loved this game! Everything about it was great. Even though it was an evil vampire theme, the innocence of the child actually made me cry.
I love the Vampire Saga games, Break out was awesome after already had played Hills Lock then playing this then playing Hills lock again i love seeing the similarities and the changes after 50 years in Hills Lock. The object scenes in this game i loved since some in Pandoras Box and Hills lock got a bit difficult for me but the ones in Break out were easy but not weak. I was a bit disapointed not to see Laura in this game but the storyline was fantastic. Cant wait for the next Vampire Saga :D
This is actually a prequel to Vampire Saga: H e ll Lock (I recognized the origin of a jump scare from that game lol). {apparently BFG doesn't like the word h-e-l-l so I had to space it out in that title so it would even let me publish this?} never played Vampire Saga: Pandora's Box so I'm not sure if that game ties in with these two. Anyway in this one you play a doctor grieving the death of his young daughter and you go to Hill Lock to check out a strange dead body there...and find yourself in the middle of a horror story! If you played Vampire Saga: H e ll Lock then you will recognize a lot of the locations, like the church, the house, the mines, I think the morgue is from that game also but I personally enjoyed this game much much better. This was a much more friendly user game, it wasn't all over the place and just more fun overall. H e ll Lock was a little spookier but this one was just better to me. You get a journal which gives lots of details about what is going on so be sure to read it. The only thing I liked about H e ll Lock better was that you had the opportunity to take photos that allowed you to shortcut to areas you needed to be in; in Break Out you don't get that option you have to take the long way around like you do in most games anyway so I guess it's not that big of a deal. You get the hint and skips as usual. The HOS scenes are a little different, you don't look for a objects from a list; instead you get a visual list and have to find a certain amount of items that match and they either all combine to make one item (like in a FrOG) or they uncover a separate item altogether. Overall, this was a great game with a slightly bittersweet ending but to me it was a better ending than its predecessor. So check it out! :)
The game has a good storyline.I've only got to the morgue and I got stuck but as far as I got it was quite interesting. The graphics were good and the hidden object scene was good but the level of challenge was poor. The only challenging part was what to do after going as far as the morgue. Then every where I went was done as far as I could. I will get this game just to solve this puzzle!!
The game is pretty easy for the HOS, however it makes up for it with a good storyline. Definitely worth the price. Will anxiously wait for the next sequel in the series.
I LOVED this game but after I bought the full version it locked up...regardless of that, fun game.
I really enjoyed this game a lot! I didn't much care for the first Vampire Saga game, and in fact, I haven't even finished it though I've had it for ages. Because of that, I didn't even demo the second game, but decided to go ahead and demo this game out of curiosity. I'm glad I did because I've just spent many enjoyable hours off and on today playing this game. The storyline was one I enjoy - I'm a big fan of the spooky storylines - and the gameplay itself was fun. The hint function was very good and filled up almost instantaneously. And because I enjoyed this game so much, I went ahead and downloaded the demo of the second game and ended up purchasing it too with one of the free coupons I got from last weekend's sale. I thought the game was well worth the purchase and time spent on it.
Although a short game, I totally enjoyed this one. Great story, good graphics, spooky atmosphere, lots to do. This game, have a feeling, is either a like it or hate it game, so do try the demo. More adventure than HOG. Awesome.
It's nice with a "different" style once in a while. Don't care if graphics are outdated or fuzzy. It's the ambiance, story line and atmosphere that is everything for me. And to feel as if the creators of the game still care at least a little and dare to go outside of the "formula." This game has easy HOGs which is a blessing so they can be done fast. Not too many either which is good. It is a very pleasant and relaxing game. Keeps your interest. Soothing music. Many of the more recent games are so similar that I'm starting to lose interest in game playing completely. Maybe it's time to pick up another hobby.
I really enjoyed this game. I liked the first installment, but couldn't get through the second due to problem. This game played really well & the music was good too. Great graphics, good story line, & the people that put this out did a great job.
