Growing up in the 90s, I was always a huge fan of Waldo and when I saw the game, I was excited but unsure if it would hold my interest since I like games that are complicated. I was very stunned to find myself having a bit of a hard time. 'Where's Waldo? Fantastic Journey' is harder than it looks. If you've ever played 'Where's Waldo?' as a child, you basically know the drill - You have to find Waldo, Wizard Whitebeard and Wanda in pictures that are very complicated as well as find a list of things that the people in the pictures other than the three main characters are doing. The pictures in the game are the same as from the books, but now they're animated, which makes the game more fun but also more complicated. Plus you have to keep an eye out for Odlaw. All in all, a game that will challenge even hardcore gamers and hidden object fans.
This is a fun game...Know how I know???? It ticks me off, and makes me talk to it, and laugh at myself
I wish the timer was longer. The scenes are very busy and had some issues with finding objects. Mybe will reconder if its a DD. I dont like timers as it is...lol Nice game with funny scenes!
I was doing great and could find all items so I thought this will be a breeze.....wrong!!! For one thing this game is timed and you cannot turn off the timer. As you move from one level to the next there are more things to find and no additional help or time added. You need to find waldo& his friends...simple you say? Well each level adds a bit more -three pigs, five plants, and later on you only get silhouttes (shapes shown in black) so you have to figure out which one it is or who it is. The page is very busy. If you played Waldo before you know what I mean when I say busy. To top that some levels have only two or three colours....like the level with monks.....grrrrr And if you run out of time you need to do same level all over again. You cannot skip or move to another level.....it is so frustrating but it adds to the challenge......and I thought I was an expert....well well Waldo proved me wrong! Try this....so difficult I ended up swearing at the timer.....and believe me I do not swear =) If you like a challenge try this......if you'd rather relax and enjoy a game this is not for you.
I bought this game because its listed on "games for windows live" which includes achievements you can buy it from windows website for ?9.99 which i couldnt justify because of the only 200gamerscore here its half the price so i thought i saved myself alot of money, in all when i came to playing i relised for some aparent reason the game download here is only 140mb compared to microsofts 600mb and it has no option to connect to windows at all meaning you will NOT gain any achievements
