I enjoy playing games like this, because it challenges my word knowledge. Unfortunately I did not get the chance to enjoy this game because you did not make it availible for my OS Windows 7. If your company can not include all OS to play your games then you will be missing out on a very large market for profit. You only have the game in XP and 8....not fair. :-(
I purchased this game after only a ten minute trial because the blend of Scrabble, crossword puzzle, & word jumble was very intriguing and initially fun. The instructions state that there is an English dictionary which has over 100,000 words. Considering the average English speaking adult has a vocabulary of 20,000 - 60,000 words +/- (depending on the source survey) I didn't think there'd be a problem. After the first several levels, it had already rejected "caul, ana, lac,aa" as well as some other words, all found in an average sized dictionary. It accepted the Greek letter "pi" but not "xi," so it's Inconsist and incomplete. There is however a website given to go to if you want to suggest words to be added to the dictionary. Since this is version 2.2 I was expecting better. Even though I gave the visual/sound & challenge categories good ratings, I had to give an overall rating of one-star because any fun factor there might have been was ruined by the high level of frustration. The promo write up claims "...you'll never get the same game twice." In two days I got the same puzzle. What a disappointment.
An excellent game that is fun and relaxing, simple to learn and a different experience each time. It challenges you to learn new words while planning their placement in the grid. The music is beautiful and the graphics easy on the eyes. It begins with a definition that you must place so one letter is on the star in the middle of the grid, just as in Scrabble. One challenge comes if you can't figure out the seven letter word right off as you must make sure there is still room for it as you can quickly fill up the grid with smaller words. You can plan your letter placement so you can add letters to existing words and any words not in their list are combos that bring bonus points. I never get tired of playing this game and never tire of the peaceful, beautiful music.
i like it because it's leaning
I love this game it is so much fun.Since I downloaded windows 7, It wont work on my computer anymore. I really wish they would fix it.It is so much fun.
Like: - Great premise and concept- you are in control of the "Scrabble" board with the same letters over and over again. - Gradual difficulty - No timer - Can easily lose an hour without even knowing it. Caution: - This game DOES work with Windows 7 (previous review said no). Just make sure you are not in Full Screen mode and hit the Windows Desktop keys. - Only one game mode.
