I own this game. After the trial, have to own it and no regrets. Love the challenge, play over and over and over. Wish there was more games in this line.
I am a fan of build a lot and royal envoy, completed them all and was looking for a new, enthralling challenge....well, I found it in this game, I love it! I am also thrilled that there are sequels...challenging and fun, I reccommend
Youda Survivor is a time-management strategy game along the lines of the Farm Frenzy franchise. The story has you playing a castaway who is trying to survive, as well as help the natives against the pirates. I thought the graphics were nice on this game, and the voice overs were done well. The gameplay is straight-forward. Click, build, upgrade, create products. The game has a twist, where you have to take potions to keep your energy up. I liked that the game has eighty levels, which is well above the average for most time-management games. On the downside, it can be a click-fest at times. That's pretty typical of the genre, though. There are achievements, which are fun to earn. Overall, I recommend it. You get a lot of gameplay for the money, and it's quite a bit of fun!
This game is action packed, hours of fun to be had, this is a quest game, you have to complete the quests to continue to the next level, the time it takes you to complete a level will depend on what achievment you will receive, each level had drifferent quests, this helped the game from becoming repetitive. I absolutly love this game, its graphics are brilliant, its colourful, its fast paced and its action packed. I also highly recommend its sequel youda survivor 2, Both games are highly addictive.
I thoroughly enjoyed this game. I am a fan of the farm frenzy games, this one is all that and then some. Biggest improvement of the game? A-ha - Once you upgrade an item in the "store" it is available for use as the upgraded version on the next levels. Farm Frenzy makes you purchase it twice, once at the upgrade screen and then again in many of the levels, which I've always hated.
When I first found this game, I immediately enjoyed the general concept of it. Once the free trail ended, I purchased the game, and it was well worth it. Levels go from easy to challenging, but not impossible. Only downside is that some of the time parameters are not logical given the level. Overall, a truly enjoyable game and well worth purchasing
i loved itso i bought it,can get harder as levels get higher challengs me its pure fun!!!!!
It does get harder but you can play any level as many times as you want earning points to get upgrades. I have played this game over and over eventually winning each time. Hard yes. Not impossible! Easily time consuming and very fun!:)
I too was a little on the fence about this game, but it grew on me and the demo ended too soon - always a good sign. At $2.99, you can certainly get your money's worth with this one! Not a huge fan of TM usually, but this one gives you an opportunity to replay (and add to your coffers) and the challenge, though clearly increasing, wasn't too much for me to handle within the first hour. And I'm a bit slow on the uptake, so it shouldn't frustrate the average player. From reading other's reviews and the forums (always the best idea before buying any game), it sounds as though there will be some interesting creatures and items coming up! I can see spending many hours running my little island!
I will admit from the start that this game only had a few seriously challenging levels. I easily got gold in all the levels after a few tries, but in saying that it wasn't so easy that it was boring. I thoroughly enjoyed it and each level came up with a new challenge that kept the game from becoming repetitive. My favourite levels where the ones that you had to 'save' the village as they where much more fun and against the clock than the others. I couldn't honestly say that there was something that could be definitely improved upon as there where enough levels to make it worth the money and I really enjoy replaying the levels.
